I love the water filter. It doesn't leave dust and gross particles in the air when cleaning it out. The water catches all of it, so it easily keeps the air clean. I also love that you can add a scent to the water. I add tea tree oil to my water bc tea tree oil is a. Natural disinfectant and purifier! 1st machine purchased new and motor shut off... all done... trashed 2nd machine purchased refurbished and day one it would shut off after 10 mins of use. Waited a bit and could use it again for another 10 minutes. Looks like this one is headed back to the seller soon. Water filter and suction strength sold us in the beginning. A bit heavy for my Bride but the best cleaning machine we have owned, until the machine started acting up! ... show more

Pros: pulls the most disgusting things out of your carpet you never knew were there. With my old vacuum, I was constantly dusting, with this vacuum the dust does not go back into the air. The more you use it, the cleaner the air quality is and your carpet is. Cons: it is very, very heavy. It’s hard to maneuver with the tools on it. I'm giving 4 Stars due to the weight no place to wrap the cord on the vaccum. and the stuggle I have with putting in the water tank in, I'm hoping with time it will get easier. I got the vaccum because every time I buy a cheep one it last less then a year. I had a sirina water vac and love it but it was to bulky for our place and I gave it to my daughter. I love the water filter vaccum. I bought a cheep stick vacuum that only lasted a few months. So I needed another vaccum I wanted an upright one. Because there easy to store. I found this one and thought Finley an upright water vacuum so of course I had to get it and try it.We have one cat and live in a 5th wheel camper. but can't seem to keep the dirt and pet hair down. The vaccum is tall and heavy way heavier then expected. The suction is awesome the dirt and hair we pulled out of the carpet made us sick it pulled more out then shampooing. I 😘 the color. I do like how strong the suction is. Just wish it was lighter. Definitely will be recommending this vaccum. Think about it by the time you get a few cheep vacuums you could have one really good one. I always buy the extended warranty even if I get 3 years out of this refurbished one it's still cheaper then continuing to buy cheap ones that keeps letting me down. My Quantum X worked amazingly the first time I used it. But each subsequent time it got worse. I bought a refurbished one the first time. The issue with it right away was that the motor for the power brush stayed on when in the locked position, which it should turn off. It does rub a spot on the carpet. The floor power brush worked amazing the first time I used it and then not so good after. I think the fifth time I used it, he hose stopped working altogether. Before that, it had amazing power. So I returned it and bought a brand new one. The power brush for the floor worked so wonderfully the first time and then nothing. Would not pick up anything. It stayed shut off in the upright position but the hose did not have the suction power that I experienced with the first one. So all in all I am very disappointed in my quantum X. I was so excited and I even gave it a second chance because I love the water filter feature. My home smelled better and was cleaner for almost 2 weeks. Now I sit here waiting for Amazon to refund my money so I can buy another brand vacuum. ... show more
