    • Great and sturdy
I love my new trash can- my first in many years. I find the size is perfect for a 2 person house hold. It can hold stuff a few days before taking out. It is fingerprint proof to the point you can see small streets. However, after days, it will maintain a nice sheen while working around it. There is a Handel in the back of this can and there is an nice black plastic insert that will hold the trash bags secure and you can take the insert with the bag inside or the insert and no bag to the outside trash can. The foot pedal works great and when fully depressed down the lid opens normally and closes normally and lowers slowly, like expected with no noice. To have the lid to stay open, just fully open lid to the up right position so it will stay open and not close. To close the lid in this position, a little pressure to the close position then the lid will engage the closing rod and will return to the close position Normally. Amazon, drivers, and seller did an outstanding job performing their roles- would buy again when the time comes. I am Amazon lucky! ... show more

Works well, the only issue is that if you physically close the lid too tightly, it sticks and the pedal will not raise the lid. That happened the first time, and if you just use the pedal or lift the lid manually and let it "glide down slowly," no problem! Very pleased so far.

The media could not be loaded. The can is undoubtedly a fantastic addition to my kitchen, but there's one minor issue I've encountered: Pros: Sturdy and Durable: This trash can is built to last, with its heavy-duty stainless steel construction. It can handle a lot of use and abuse. It is also super visually appealing. Hands-Free Operation: The hands-free step feature is convenient and hygienic, making it easy to dispose of trash without touching the lid. Cons: Bag Holding Difficulty: The only drawback I've experienced is related to the bag. The lip for the bag doesn't hold it securely in place, and occasionally, the bag falls inside the can. It's a bit frustrating, and I wish there was a better solution or clearer instructions to prevent this issue. Overall, the trash can is a great addition to my kitchen, and it's incredibly functional. However, I'd appreciate better bag-holding functionality to make it a perfect 5-star product. ... show more

    • It's a 10!!!!
If I could give it 10 stars I would. I had the trashcan from hell before this one. You know the type that opens automatically? Yeah...that stupid thing. It ate more batteries than trash ! You had to fight like mad to get a trash bag out of it. Sometimes it would take two people to hold down on the can while jockeying it back and forth and usually ripped the bag. This trash can is AWESOME!!! Batteries not required!! A foot peddle and it doesn't take more than one person to pull the bag out. It just lifts right out. And you can actually fill the bag to capacity!!! We find we use far less bags than before. The only thing you have to be mindful of is that place where there's a divit in the back where the mechanism is to open and close needs to be kept clear of the bag. Just use a finger and push it back. It won't close all the way if you don't. And did I mention NO FINGER PRINTS! I can't believe I'm gushing over a trash can but if you lived with the hellish one I had for the last year you would too! It's a gray purchase and the price is right! Highly recommend. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I love everything about this trash can. It's big, sturdy & efficient, with the step opening, and the silver blends nicely with my kitchen appliances. There is an inner can that is renovable, to replace the trash bag. I highly recommend.
