The enclosure came on time and was boxed up nicely. My Infinity Kappas from the 90s fit well without bottoming out. They sit about 1/4 inch above flush on the outside and that was perfect because, and yes you have to remove the carpet and yes it says so in the description, after the enclosure was set in place there is about 1/2 in gap between itself and the bottom of the seat. My seat is one piece and I removed it to take the carpet out from under it but I didn't have to lift it up any when I reinstalled it. I'm glad the speaker terminals weren't glued in place because they are in a spot that is hard to get to from inside,, and by sliding them out you can wire them effortlessly and glue them in place yourself. For the price they're asking it's a 5 star box -you cannot beat it. ... show more

The box was good quality but it didnt fit perfectly the box sits about 1/8 of an inch above the top of the compartment so speakers touch seat but its still best price and great quality

Sealed box. Very light, cheaply made. Doesn’t fit any regular sub and only a few shallow subs. After cutout only have a couple inches before you hit wood on the side. Don’t recommend!!

It installed easily with no modifications. The box sits flush with the bottom of the seat, but that area where the speakers are has cloth that is very flexible so no need to raise the seat on spacers like I have read might be needed. Just hook up wires inside the box first to the removable cover that has the external quick wire hookups(4 phillips screws to remove each cover). Used some old Cerwin Vega 12" speakers I had laying around and sound good. They use to just sit it the wells where this box sits and use to sound terrible. ... show more

It fits under the rear seat is its best point but this box isn't very solid it flexes especially in the center robbing the subs of output by 50 % or more it's glued together not nailed or screwed and no internal bracing so it really vibranted even and low volume anything above low bass was noisy and sounded just awful I finally just measured and glued in wooden braces to try to stop the box flexibility and it helped some but I lost valuable airspace I'm using low profile woofers 10in so it's ok for now for the money but not the time spent of modifying the box just to make it usable ... show more
