I never thought id be buying one of these but it’s been a lifesaver at my WFH job to keep blood going and getting my heart rate up. You can feel the resistance but because it’s powered it kind of helps you out if you zone out but you still get results. No assembly at all. Really quiet and easy to operate. It feels like the calorie count may be inflated but I’m not sure. I use my Apple Watch with it to see my heart rate. Three different programs with differing speeds and resistances. I've got it set up now and it's working fine for keeping the blood flowing while I'm working at my desk. If they mentioned it in the ad, I didn't catch it, but it does have 4 thin rubber pads — I assume if you had a rubber mat, it might be stable. Now, I have it under my desk against the wall and it's quite stable. And quiet. I read up on AI and found that 5 minutes every half hour is recommended and, motorized, it doesn't distract me from my work. If it lasts a year, I give it a solid 5. this seems to be a helpful solution for me, but has thoughtless design defects. the beneficial motorized while I'm at my desk all day, plus my hour in the gym suits my needs. Defects: it slides all over while in use. The electric cord (not shown in the ads) plugs into the front, so I can't just put my toolbox in front. The foot pedal has an inane substantial lump of hard plastic with nodules on it under the metatarsal — you MUST wear shoes, but I wear #13s and it is designed me before size 10. to use it I will have to construct a carriage. I was very skeptical when purchasing this product, but it proved me wrong. My husband's legs were always swollen from poor circulation issues. After using this machine for only one week the swelling went down. I was amazed! He uses the machine daily for an hour and the swelling has not returned. It is easy to use.
