I love these extra large heated my pads. I have one on my couch, in the spare bedroom and in the master bedroom. I will say that I have had some issues with them burning out after 6 months which really stinks since they aren’t super super cheap but hear be out before you write these off. They are the largest sized heating pads that I’ve found both online and in stores for the price. Over the past 7 years, I have owned 6 these and had issues with 2 The company only replaced 1 after I complained as I had only had it for a few months. Why keep buying them you ask - simply put - they are great! I have never had to turn the heat setting up over 3 as they get that warm and again .. the X-Large size is fantastic. To me, it’s worth the risk as I sleep with a heating pad on my lower back every night… so please take that into account as well. I use my heating pad daily. It also gives you the option for the automatic shutoff or to leave it on which is a nice option. Should one of mine stop working.. will I buy another one.. yes - yes I will because they work so well and the size is great.

I love this heating pad! It’s soft and big enough to use on my lower back at night. I like that I can put it on Stay On so it’s warm all night whenever I need it. It does have the auto shut off also. It’s probably the third one I’ve had because they last about two years but I use it every day.

This Product is excellent, you will not find a better product, price, or a company that stands behind their products and has excellent customer support that is very simple and quick if needed. This is very hard to find these days. I do not waste my time writing negative reviews but when a product and company deserves a positive review I will share that so future potential customers do not have to waste time browsing through other products and reviews. The PureRelief Products are unlike a very similar product made by a well known company whose name begins with S that also makes blankets and etc. that I have had failures with every product from that company. I purchased a heating pad from that company of this type only it was a small 12x12 inch that did not last but a couple of months that had some of the same features and did not advertise a warranty found easily. I then got on Amazon and located the products by PureRelief. My XL 12X24 in Charcoal heating pad by PureRelief worked exactly as described. I have had 15 back surgeries and procedures and it is so nice to finally have a large heating pad, with a function that allows it to stay on longer if I want and not auto shut off in 2 hours as a selection. Very nice to have the Microplush one piece heating pad and not have the type of heating pad that is plastic and stiff until it heats with a thin cover always coming off and you can feel the wires in it. There is nothing negative about this PureRelief microplush heating pad. Now, after having the product for two years one day it displayed F for Failure and would not work. The company states 5 year warranty and makes it well known, not hard to find. I emailed the company and was contacted the next day, all they asked for is that I reply back with the proof of purchase and delivery of the product which is very easy to do thanks to Amazon that keeps my order history, and that day PureRelief had a new heating pad in the mail and on the way to me do to the urgency. No other questions asked and their instructions were just to throw away the product that failed. This is a company that stands by what they advertise, while taking great care of customers by making this process very easy if needed, most companies would not reply so quick and would want me to send them my failed product first on my dime. This company takes care of their customers and will be the only company I order any type of these products from again. It says it in the name, a Relief of a purchase, do not hesitate, do not waste time going through other companies products and reviews, do not waste time looking at all the reviews and wondering if you are making the right choice or not. You will be satisfied with the product or the company will make you satisfied.

Upon receiving this product it seemed to work really well, but as it heats it puts off an odd chemically smell... I figure this smell will go away after awhile so I wasn't concerned, though when I first turned it on and noticed the smell I had to check to make sure that none of the components were having an issue. It has gotten quite a bit of use in the last day and I noticed today that it didn't seem to be putting out the same heat I noticed the day before. I thought maybe this is my imagination, so I pulled out my temp gun and temped it. At the highest setting (6), which is supposed to be 160*f, it only reached about 112*f (temping from both top and bottom of the pad), 120*f if turned directly onto the sixth setting. It's unfortunate that there's such a large discrepancy in temperatures. I had not intended to use it at such a high temperature as the sixth setting was supposed to be, but I would have expected the pad to reach at least 130*f at it's hottest, so I have to say that I'm extremely disappointed with this. More disappointing is how uneven it heats. For whatever reason, the sides seem to heat better than the center (I would expect the opposite). Furthermore, as others have noted, the space that actually heats has quite a bit of clearance compared to the fabric, making the size of this heating pad extremely misleading. I could forgive this around where the chord plugs into the unit, but the other side of the pad also has a clearance of probably 1 inch (where as the side with the chord has a clearance of about 3 inches), losing a total of aproximately 4 inches this way. Furthermore, the short sides have a clearance of about 1-2 centimeters on one side and about an inch on the other, losing approximately 1 1/2 inches on these sides as well, bringing the heating surface of the pad down to 11" by 20". The bright side of all of this is that it does not get got enough by any stretch of the imagination to burn anyone or anything. After chatting with my fiance about this product we did decide that this was likely a positive flaw (I'm still a little disappointed due to the product information not reflecting this). Furthermore, though not (in my opinion) fitting the title of "extra large", it does fit across my legs from about mid thigh to ankle (I am only 5"3), which is currently where I need the heat for my leg cramps. My cat also was quite satisfied with this product on the first setting (which only hits about 87-91*f rather than the 105*f in the description). And of course, the material on the top is very soft kinda minky fabric, though I wonder why thus fabric is not used on the bottom where the pad would be touching your skin (though this fabric is similar just not as kooshy). All in all, if I purchase another heating pad I'd probably buy a different one to get a little more heat (for cramps I do like something hotter (though 130*f would be the hottest I'd want), and I would also like a more even heating surface)... But it is a decent product in its own right.

Pros: Purchased Heating Pad back in 2020 and worked great. Heats up really quick and has higher temperature compared to other brands and is easy to use. Noticed the inside wire is a bit thicker than others (I assumed higher voltage = higher quality in heat). Helped with cramps. Cons: Lasted for 6 years. The back of the HP is kinda of rough, wish they could make the back the same as the front for more comfort. Overall, I am happy with the product and I just purchased my 2nd HP. Hopefully, it will last me about the same or more years ;)
