I would have given these 5 stars but when I opened the package the box it comes in was ripped open on both ends, the seal wasn't broken though otherwise I would have returned it. other than that, it works really well, easy to read and clear instructions. I have a water tester kit that I use weekly and use these daily. Despite people saying the strips in general are never accurate, I find them to be inline with results. I would recommend, but not as your only source of water testing.

Though they do not test for ammonia, testing for both nitrogen byproducts and pH seem to overcome this. Test strips work great! Let me know exactly how to balance my water for my beta. Tip for others, if you have trouble with new tank syndrome or nitrogen, get some duckweed. It grows really fast and will soak up all that nitrogen to help with small tank nitro gen cycles! ... show more

    • Works but Difficult to Tell Colors
This works, but it’s different to see the color changes. They are much more subtle than the Tetra test strips. They work well enough to tell me if nitrates and nitrites are elevated, but the color change is not very dark and doesn’t exactly match the bottle so it can be hard to read.

If you need test strips for your fish tank get these don't go in the store and buy some that are double the price and you get less these are great they work fantastic highly recommend
