I have 2 puppies who love a trash can but this, this is different. The sensor must be activated over the top and finally my puppies are unable to get in the trash. Stylish and functional. A little light weight so they can tip easily but if you put up against a wall it works great. Great price for what you get. The battery life is about 4 months, the different sizes are perfect. Smaller one in spare bathroom, which is rarely used, larger in master bathroom.

Yes, bins. The receptacles. The rubbish holders. Apparently, they’re having a moment. But not just any bin. No, no. This one has aspirations. For five days straight, the algorithm all but insisted I become intimately acquainted with this bin. It appeared in every impeccably curated space—kitchens with marble countertops, bathrooms you’d swear belonged to a boutique spa, homes with precisely three visible items and zero clutter. Naturally, being the picture of discipline and restraint that I am, I ordered it immediately. The Unboxing – “Ah, She's Fancy” Right from the start, I was rather taken. The bin is perfectly sized—10L / 2.6 gallons, which somehow feels both efficient and vaguely European. It comes with detachable legs, should you wish to elevate it to its full stature or discreetly tuck it under a cabinet, depending on how committed you are to the curated refuse aesthetic. The design? Utterly civilized. Sleek, modern, and decidedly not the kind of thing one picks up on a whim from the corner shop. The media could not be loaded. Perfect. It actually holds more than the can we had previously. The lid opens instantly when the sensor is triggered. I wasn’t sore it would be sturdy enough using the legs (you can leave them off if you’d like) but despite the quick open action, it’s not unsteady or wobbly at all. I ordered the black color and it’s pretty neutral and should work almost anywhere. Noise level is minimal, but you can hear it open and close. Also worth mentioning the thin circular ring… this actually has a great purpose and is the reason I chose this specific can (lots of others don’t have it. Once you’ve placed your trash bag in and roll the edges down around the lip of the can, place the ring over it, then fold the trash bag flaps over it (inside of the can) see my photos. This keeps from having the trash bag showing at all… so much neater and tidy looking than having the bag hanging out from between the can and lid. It’s easy to wipe clean. Definitely recommended.
