This hose is not a heavy duty hose, so it does have limited uses. That said, it is perfect for watering plants and flowers on your patio and many other light-duty uses. It compresses to 18", which makes it very handy and portable. I actually bought it to use at horse shows when bathing my horse so I don't have to coil up and pack a heavy standard hose. Treat it gently and keep it out of sunlight and it should last you for years.

This hose is to replace an older hose that is falling apart that is used for additional length to get to parts of the backyard the regular hose can't reach. I wanted something that won't be difficult to store after use, and the coils make sure that it goes back to its original form, but that also makes it difficult for moving it around sometimes, and things can get caught up in the coils. The price point is OK for the product.

I don't have a boat to use this on, so I just use it for garden watering and driveway cleaning. I like the fact that the spring coil keeps the hose up off the ground and I no longer have to coil the hose myself when finished. But it also means that the listed 25' length represents the hose when fully uncoiled, and the actual working length is much shorter, maybe half of that. It's significantly lighter than a standard garden hose. Of course, the price of that is probably longevity and I'm not sure how long this will last since I plan to keep it outdoors. It does have what looks to be decent quality fittings that fit a standard outdoor 3/4" faucet. [this review is duplicated for the identical hose sold under a different brand name].

This is a very skinny house. It is not heavy-duty by any means, but I think it will work well for my houseplants. It is somewhat difficult to stretch to its full length, so I am really only getting 10-12 ft of coverage. I am not too confidant in its sturdiness, only time will tell. The Pros: The beautiful PURPLE color! What a nice change from boring greens and blacks. I just wish it was a bit more flexible and stretchy. I also appreciate how easy it was to attach to my water line, the brass coupling seems of good quality, no leaks.

My old garden hose was leaking and I needed a replacement. The hose is lightweight and does not kink but is not as flexible or heavy duty as hoses made from other materials. My old garden hose was also made of Polyurethane and repeated exposure to extreme heat and cold will make small tears appear in the hose over time. I have not used this garden hose long enough to judge how durable it is. Overall I would recommend this hose for people that are interested in keeping the hose tidy and don't want to pull and move around heavier hoses.

I got this hose to replace one of those expandable, stretchy hoses. My waterspout is near a rose bush and those expandable hoses don't do well around thorns. This hose has no such problems. It's sturdy, compact when not in use, and is a beautiful shade of purple. I'm only using the hose to water plants, clean some tools, and occasionally spraying down the driveway. And for those purposes it works perfectly for me. I can think of two potential negatives for this hose, depending on your usecase. One, it's not really a 25 foot hose. The coiled nature means that you'd have to pull it completely taut and stretched out to get the full length, and I think you'd be putting damaging force on the fittings if you did that. And two, the small diameter of the hose means that the flow is about half of what you'd get from a standard hose. Neither of these issues detract from the way I'm using the hose, but I could see where others might have problems.

This is a good water hose to have. It is naturally coiled, meaning it will not get tangled and block water flow. And it will stay coiled when not in use, which means it can be transported and stored easily. However, the downside of coil is that it will be difficult to extend it straight. So you will not get 25 ft in length without stretching it hard. I think this applies to all the coiled water hoses.

This hose acts more like a 10-foot house instead of a 25-foot hose. It is tightly wound. I thought maybe when the water was turned on it would extend more, this was not the case. Although it does let through a steady stream of water, don’t expect the amount you get from a regular garden hose. The opening is very small. This did not work for my intended use. But could be good for washing your pet, when a longer hose is not needed. It does not take a lot of space for storing. Like the vibrant color.
