However this material was made, it's the best imitation wood I've ever seen. This is not just some applied surface graining. The cut edges look like wood. I was surprised by how easy it was to assemble. Five minutes tops, everything included. I did loose fit all the screws before tightening. It's not a lightweight piece either. It is a comfortable seat height, not too low. It is surprisingly nicer than expected. The wood tone seems lighter than it did in the photos, but it's pleasant and looks great. The adjustable levelers on the legs are a super nice feature, because the floor of the shower slopes toward the drain. Just a few turns and the legs are solid and the bench is wobble free. This bench is great. Bought it to replace a hospital type shower seat and we love it. It is the perfect size for both me who is short (5'2) and my husband who is a (5'10). It has held up well under the water. Still looks great. Dry's pretty fast. Very easy to put together. Like other have recommended don't tighten the screw until you get them all connected. Nice simple shower stool thats heavy duty plastic so it will never rot. Quite sturdy and non slip too. This is used in my double wide shower. It also dosnt have that medical institution look.
