Perfect for our needs
First, the shipping of this item was amazing! Drop shipped from the manufacturer in 24 hours. Assembly was intuitive although the instructions were a little hard to read. They provide the tools you need, but I substituted a nut driver and a regular phillips screwdriver to make things easier. The chair appears to be very sturdy, yet lightweight and easy to move if we need the tub for others to use. Would definitely buy again.

Missing parts
The two screws that hold the back on this bath chair were wrong. 1/4" and couldn't reach the frame to screw to. I scurried around and located two stainless screws that would work. 3/4" long screws. The code on the warranty paperwork doesn't work...takes you to a page that will not open. Go to website listed on paper and nothing. Go to Belnick website but no way to register warranty and 'be done'. I thought I knew better, but don't just buy something because it's on Amazon, do some research on the 'importer' of the Chinese article.

Easy assembly, sturdy and dependable
We purchased this for an elderly parent who was injured. It makes things easier and much safer than without such a tub transfer chair. It is highly recommended and liked by the user and by us who have become the caretakers. None of us had considered purchasing this item before the injury, but now realize how much more comfortable and easier it is to be sitting in the shower. If you don't have a built-in bench, consider purchasing before actually needing one for comfort and safety's sake. We are happy with this particular model.

Sturdy and easy to assemble.
I like the ease with assembling this. It is very sturdy and is suitable for different configurations depending upon how your bath is set up. The backrest can be either left or right centered. The arm grips are at a good height. Plastic molded seat and backrest are comfortable for being a shower chair and have some texture to keep it from being too slippery.

Virtually Impossible to Assemble made harder by cheap hardware and insufficient diagrams
This should have been a simple assembly simple but it wasn't. The screws and nuts are poorly threaded; there is a cheap token Allen wrench thrown in which does not do the job. This seat an item that deserves properly milled hardware to be safe. I needed to find a screwdriver and wrench to even begin to adequately tighten the nuts and it took multiple tries to thread them. The washers which should have been standardly sized were a random assortment. And despite there being exactly 65 component moving parts to this assembly, the instructions consisted of just 4 small diagrams. This was an exercise in frustration and took more than three hours and two people to assemble. This product would be vastly improved by upgrading the screws, nuts, and bolts and including more comprehensive assembly instructions .

Would buy again for 3 reasons.
This bench is definately not "easy assembly" My husband is a mechanic and this has at least 24 screws and no 2 parts are pre connected. It took him about half an hour AFTER he got his real tools (rather than the included hex wrench). The first one we bought had misdrilled holes so the parts did not line up. It had to be returned. The replacement arrived the next day, so at least the exchange was quick. It works fine and keeps the water in the shower when you tuck the shower curtain into the slit in the bench. It doesn't sit perfectly level with a tiny gap on one of the floor side legs. It moves just barely and it is plenty stable, even though all 4 legs should touch the floor evenly. I would probably buy again for 3 reasons: 1) Delivery was lightening fast (under 24 hours) for both the original and the replacement. 2) This one cost a few dollars less than the competitions 3) All the ones I looked at appear to be exactly the same. I guess I am happy, but not exactly wowed! In my defense, nothing is really wowing me these days and probably won't until I can walk again!!!
