I purchased this item primarily as car Jump Starter and was excited to read that it could also serve as a battery pack to charge other devices. Well I’m happy to report that it works great as a Jump Starter since I was able to power up my 6.2L Chevy Camaro in a snap! Unfortunately this item does not work that well as a battery pack. I brought it with me on my camping trip (writing this review in my tent) and it struggles to charge cellphones. In some cases the Yesper begins charging my phones but then it turns off after 30seconds. I tried multiple cables and one finally works at all times and others work intermittently, including OEM cables. Disappointed that I was not able to charge other small items such as headlamps or even my father in laws hearing aids that have a micro-USB connection. I tried multiple cables and they all only charged for 30 seconds before the Yesper shuts off. My brother-in-law’s battery pack charged multiple items without problems. I also would like to mention that the USB-C output is quick charging either. I have a brand new NOCO Boost X that I haven’t tried, but if it outperforms the Yesper in the battery pack department, I think I will return the Yesper.
