Description

If bathroom safety is your goal at your assisted living facility, then a shower transfer bench should be available to every patient. Transfer chairs allow patients who have trouble with mobility slide their way out of the tub or shower while in a seated position. Suitable for any bathroom, the back installs on either side of the arm. If you plan on traveling, take your bath bench with you to feel at ease at your destination. The shower seat includes drainage holes to provide a better sitting experience allowing soapy water to drain through. Minimize buildup with a water based cleaner. Provide extra security to ease fearful patients who've fallen in the past with an tub bench with rubber feet to prevent the bath chair from shifting. Don't risk slipping when a transfer bench chair makes it so easy to transition in and out of the shower.

  • Good product, but be careful when assembling.
Color: Grey
Easy to assemble - make sure you have the parts in the right direction before tightening the bolts - the legs have bolt holes on one end for the side piece, but otherwise identical. I put them together in the opposite direction, so I had to take it apart and redo. Glad I did not tighten it down or there may have been a problem. Once its together it holds up well. can adjust height on both sides to fit into tub. ... show more

  • Excellent product
Color: Grey
Needed this so I could take showers while on the mend with a broken ankle. Was worried it would not fit in my small bathroom. It fit perfectly. Putting it together was somewhat of a challenge but finally got it assembled. Lots of extra screws and washers were left over. Very sturdy and stabile. Also, due to length of bench, I get little to no water on my bathroom floor. Highly recommend this product. ... show more

  • Worth the effort of putting it together
Color: Grey
This was not the easiest chair assembly I have ever done, and the instructions were a bit lacking, but the finished product is really perfect for my walk in shower. I know, I know, it's supposed to be for a tub, but I like the extra chair space for my shower toiletries. It's the perfect size and very very sturdy. I feel safe that I am not going to slip or fall off while using it. ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY. PRODUCT HAS COMPLICATED ASSEMBLY AND NOT SAFE.
Color: Grey
Recently purchased this for my mother who had a stroke and needs it for getting into and out of the bathtub so she can shower safely. Not only did I waste hours of my time trying to decipher the confusing instruction manual, but when the final product was put together it provided NO support for my mother and she almost fell. Thankfully I was there to help her when she tested it but I worry for people who are living alone. I can't stress this enough: this is not a product to buy if you are handicapped and needing it. This product NEEDS ASSEMBLY from someone able bodied with tools and the patience to piece it together. To give you an idea of how horrible the assembly was, if you tightened anything even the slightest bit then the parts on the chair would not fit. You had to get all of the screws and washers in the right place to tighten them all together, which sounds easy enough to figure out and do at first. However, because they had to be loose they continued to fall out, washers would disappear into the holes on the chair, and it was a headache I do not wish upon my worst enemy. The parts included do not match the instruction booklet as well. The back support of the chair didn't even have holes for the screws- I had to use an ice pick to make holes big enough for it to attach. And even then the screws were not long enough to provide any back support. I wish I could donate this chair to someone who needs one because I don't think I am able to get my money back, but I can't in good conscience for fear of some elderly or disabled person getting hurt when trying to use it. I am instead going to stress how awful of an experience this was for me and my mother to try and warn potential buyers away. There are better, easier to assemble transfer chairs available, and picking this cheaper option will only be a waste your time and money. ... show more
