I purchased this shower bench to use outdoors in my pool changing enclosure. It is extremely sturdy and is made of a heavy duty plastic that is waterproof. I wish it came in a 30 inch width which would work better and accommodate most sizes but this size served the purpose for a place to sit while changing into your swimsuit. The description stated that it could accommodate up to 700 lbs and showed several people standing on top of it at one time which is why I decided to purchase this one. The quality seems to be extremely sturdy and safety was the most important factor to me when deciding on which bench to purchase. As for the dimensions… we have a lot of tall people in our family 6’2” and taller so if this bench had adjustable feet to make it a couple of inches taller that would have been great!! Overall it’s a very nice bench, much more expensive than a lot of other shower benches but I’m a firm believer that you get what you pay for so I definitely would rather pay more for a quality product. I would recommend this bench!!

Pros: very sturdy, only 6 pieces, no slats that can fail Cons: taller options would be desirable Bought this for my disabled father (prosthetic leg). He's gone through a handful of bathroom seats over the years (he uses this at his sink and something else in the shower). I decided to try and find something that would withstand more wear and tear. I really don't see him wearing this down anytime soon, outside of throwing it out a window. The material is very dense. The seat and the bottom brace/shelf are single molds, so there aren't any individual slats that can fail as with similar bamboo versions (which is what he's typically had prior). These could be used as axe shields if one were inclined to strap arm mounts on them. The noted density also makes them heavier than many similar seats. I was concerned that he might have some issues with it, as he moves the seat around at the sink to transition into and out of the shower, but he told me he's not had any issues with it whatsoever. I even offered to mount some handles on it if he needed, but he said he was fine. It was rather pricey, but the amount of money not spent on replacing more seats in the future will make it more economical, long-term. Pretty happy with the purchase overall. Assembled in about 5 minutes. Only complaint would be that a somewhat taller option would be desirable. In his case, he can manage, but he'd probably have an easier time if it were another couple of inches taller.

This bench is very sturdy, the adjustable feet for leveling, and made of PVC type material. The water drains easily through slats on both shelves. The screws are on the underside, so they are not exposed to water, and it has a finished look. It was very easy to assemble.

Heavy, stable and no exposed screws. Perfect for our new Shower installation. Only suggestion is not to tighten the screws until all have been inserted and only partially snugged down.

Very nice and solid I just wish it was a bit taller I'm 6'5". They could easily do this by offering 2" leg extenders. They could screw in to the bottom of the legs and then add the feet.
