This bench is very sturdy, the adjustable feet for leveling, and made of PVC type material. The water drains easily through slats on both shelves. The screws are on the underside, so they are not exposed to water, and it has a finished look. It was very easy to assemble.

I purchased this shower bench to use outdoors in my pool changing enclosure. It is extremely sturdy and is made of a heavy duty plastic that is waterproof. I wish it came in a 30 inch width which would work better and accommodate most sizes but this size served the purpose for a place to sit while changing into your swimsuit. The description stated that it could accommodate up to 700 lbs and showed several people standing on top of it at one time which is why I decided to purchase this one. The quality seems to be extremely sturdy and safety was the most important factor to me when deciding on which bench to purchase. As for the dimensions… we have a lot of tall people in our family 6’2” and taller so if this bench had adjustable feet to make it a couple of inches taller that would have been great!! Overall it’s a very nice bench, much more expensive than a lot of other shower benches but I’m a firm believer that you get what you pay for so I definitely would rather pay more for a quality product. I would recommend this bench!!

The media could not be loaded. My video shows that I can sit on the bench just fine. I’m well over 400 pounds and have used this often when taking a shower. I’m handicapped and have a flat shower bed with grab bars to help me get in and out. The bench holds my weight. It looks like wood, but it’s actually a hard rubbery plastic that will not accumulate mold or mildew. Water dries quickly and leaves no visible stain. It may have water spots, but I haven’t noticed any. I appear as a cloaked figure because what I look like isn’t important, though you’ll be able to tell I am fairly heavy. The bench is the star of this video and review. I highly recommend this bench. It does come in pieces: 2 shelves, 4 legs and screws that fit into pre-drilled holes. The legs may appear not to line up correctly with the top shelf, but this is intentional to give the shelf a curved appearance once it’s all combined. I apologize that I don’t have video spliced together into a full video showing all of this, but I am limited to uploading only one video and I don’t have the technical know how to combine or edit several different videos. The attached video is just me showing the placement of the bench in my shower area and sitting on it. The videos I’ve seen are well put together but only show how to use it as a foot rest or shelving unit. My video shows a heavy set person actually sitting on it. The legs are sturdy and will not bend like the aluminum legs of chairs that are reviewed elsewhere. Those pictures are very informative; mine adds to the information those present. My placement is at the back of the shower but is easily moved to any other portion.

Love this shower bench!! I had a techa (wood) one and it was so much work. If you leave the wood benches wet they will mold so quick. This is two weeks of use without cleaning and it’s doing super well. I’m not a big person but decided I wanted a comfortable seat. It might be plastic but very comfortable

This bench is awesome! I did a lot of research before purchasing this bench. The deciding factor for me was the video of the man who said he weighed over 400 lbs. sitting on it in his shower. It looked very sturdy. As a disabled woman who weighs over 300, I am always cautious about purchases like this. When it came, the package was pretty heavy and tightly packed. I found that just laying the box on the floor and opening it out flat was the easiest way to get everything out of the box. The bench has four legs, two are labeled C and two are labeled D. When assembling, the legs with like labels are placed in opposite diagonal corners. Before attaching, check both legs in each corner because I found there will be a corner where they fit better in relation to lining up screw holes. I also found that for putting the screws in, holding the legs loosely in place makes it easier to get the screws in to the tightening point. Once you get them to that point, you can press the legs tightly in place and tighten all the way. After attaching the bottom shelf and the adjustable feet, it is just a matter of moving the bench into place and adjusting the feet to provide stability. All in all, it took me about 30 minutes to put it together on my own. I love the height and rock solid feel of this bench. It was well worth the price.

Pros: - Seems very sturdy - Easy to assemble - Stylish enough Cons: - There are a couple of spots on the chair that appear not sealed and might grow mold/mildew. The manufacturer machined slots into the seat part and seemingly left them unsealed. While I’m not near the stated weight limit of this seat, I am extremely hard on furniture. The last “heavy duty” shower chair I purchased started creaking after the 5th use. This one has no creaks as of yet.
