Description

The ProsourceFit Core Balance Disc is a fun, versatile tool for personal trainers, group fitness instructors, Pilates instructors, physical therapists, or anyone who wants to improve their balance and core strength. This lightweight, portable disc creates an unstable surface that can be used for a variety of purposes such as standing balance exercises, seated or kneeling Pilates core workouts, or prone movements like planks and push-ups. It can also be used as a seat cushion for both adults and children. One side features small bumps to provide traction and grip, while the other has more tactile, flexible raised bumps for a massaging effect. The disc may be used on either side, according to your preference. The stability disc is 14-inches in diameter, and approximately 3-inches high, depending on how much you inflate it (not to exceed 5”). It comes with a hand pump so you can inflate it according to your needs and comfort level. Great to have on hand at gyms as well as at home for strengthening, balance, and therapy exercises you can do anywhere. Comes in 6 colors.

I bought this actually to sit in my chair at work.. to help me sit up and have better posture. It has helped me so so much. At first my tail Boe hurt for some reason 😕 but after few days it got better..it was kinda weird..but I've notice that I don't have back pain like I use to from sitting all day so it's definitely help my posture and back.. you can adjust how much air you want in it as well. I use this product for some dog training, so I don't know how it helps people. I like it, but the only issue I have with it is that it takes "forever" to inflate. The pump they give you is a small hand pump, and my arms got very tired trying to pump it up. I know someone else who got one and instead, used a bicycle pump, which they said was much easier and faster. Unfortunately, I don't own a bicycle pump, so it looks like I'm going to be inflating this on arm day! ... show more

I use this on my office chair for balance and posture. It allows me to 'free sit', encourages me to move and balance - thus strengthening my core muscles, keep my spine flexible and strengthen my back up to my shoulders. I'm still recovering from being rear ended, and this is an easy tool to get more of a work out all day every day. It is helpful for balance - standing on it as well. My child uses this product at physical therapy to help with muscle tone, balance, stability, and gravitational issues. I saw that this seller had several colors for $20 or less, and decided it would also be great for providing him with proprioceptive input at home for his sensory seeking needs. He stands on it during chest level learning activities, sometimes when eating or reading, and he sits on it to read or play with toys on the floor. I have also started using it to increase my own balance and core strength. This item will challenge your body for sure! Expect to feel it in your hips and thighs, and understand that yoga on it is more advanced! I honestly can not think of many $20 fitness items that provide this variety of balance, strengthening, and sensory benefits... but it is difficult so definitely check with your physical therapist and/or physician to decide if it is right for you. Perfect item for improving your sense of balance. Well made, easy to use and inflate and does the job it was intended to do. Would be nice if the product came with a set of instructions on the types of exercises you can do with this product. I was lucky to have a similar product that provided a list of exercises that can be performed with this product. The product comes with a small hand pump and inflation needle.
