Give it a chance and don’t give up. I’m 41 and the first time trying I couldn’t do anything. Kept feeling like I was going to fall. I took a break and a few hours later I got it. Updated Review: My first order had a magswitch roller stopper that broke after 2 hours of use, but I think it must have been a defective piece. It was easy to request a replacement and the new one I received has been working great for the few weeks I've had it so far. I love using it everyday especially if I'm just watching tv which has been way better than just sitting all the time. It's been great for foot/leg/glute/core workouts for me. I've been trying to rehab my feet and ankles and this has been amazing for that. It's a great way to make a workout fun and even addicting. I've gone almost two hours using it and lost track of time more than a few times. Customer service has been amazing. They contacted me first about my issue and guaranteed that they back their product with a LIFETIME WARRANTY on any defects or malfunctions which is awesome. Ive been wanting to get one of these for the family for years. I originally was going to get an Indo board, but liked the idea and design of this better once I saw it. I am a diy guy and have a whole bunch of birch wood in my garage that I could have made one out of, but this one looked nice and sturdy, so I pulled the trigger. It was supposed to be one of those filler presents to put out with Santa’s gifts, but we have used this thing more than any other gift so far. I have enjoyed how versatile it is without the track that some balance boards have on the bottom. I am 205lbs and have been doing squats with a 25lb kettlebell, and get on it with my 40lb 3 year old all of the time, so that’s upwards of 250lbs that we have tested with no creaking or signs of stress at all. This thing will be fun for years to come with how much you can do on it. ... show more

I think this is the clear runner up to the Indo Board which seems to be perpetually out of stock. The roller is smaller than Indo’s by at least an inch in diameter, so you don’t get quite as much vertical bandwidth. However, it is still challenging to use and a good tool to have in your home gym. I like to use it while at my standing desk. Having only used Indo Boards in the past, I likely won’t be using the more narrow pegs for the stops— but I’m sure it’s nice if you are new to balance boards. I’m also on the fence with how I feel about the foam-layered texture of the top. I feel like over time/use it will wear away. I’d prefer a gritty finish like the Indo Board has— but maybe in the future I can spray it with bed liner or something to mimic the preferred finish. So far it has served its purpose in terms of providing grip. I just worry about longevity. It certainly seems durable and strong, I’m not concerned about it collapsing or breaking under my weight. Overall, I’m glad I had a sizable gift card to put towards this purchase, as I’d really prefer an Indo Board… but this will do in a pinch. ... show more

Made in the USA and I love it !! I wanted to buy a balance board to help strengthen my muscles and core. I am 62 and still long board and snow board but not as much as I used to; by using this balance board I am strengthening up muscles long forgotten and my overall balance has greatly improved. I have noticed an improvement in my leg strength and my time spent on the board has increased greatly from when I received it. If you are new to a balance board, it can be intimidating and there is a learning curve as your body adapts to what you are asking it to do. Take your time. I set it up in a bedroom and I used a dresser to "lightly" touch while I learned the board. Eventually I gained more strength and confidence as my ability to ride the board got better, and so then my time increased without "tapping out" the board on the floor. The "light touch" on the dresser dissipated and I am now in the main floor with no issues. Learn your board, do not be over confident and take your time. This board will move quicker than you think on a tile or laminate floor, I recommend you learn on a carpeted floor as this slows down the roller. Did I say this balance board is made in the USA? After an hour or so I removed the stops and it made it so much easier to stay balanced. I rode a skateboard in my youth and now that I am an adult with no core strength due to my job as a truck driver, I realized how badly I needed to add this to my daily routine. The board is well built and I like the comfort of the foam grip. I bought the mat of the revbalance website since it wasnt offered on amazon. I was willing to pay a little more for made in America and I have to say I am not disappointed. quality product they have here and its a ton of fun for my 40 year old body. Perfect. ... show more
