    • Quality Heating Source At Economical Price
After living in Europe for 30 years, I am fully conversant with this space heating source. I purchased this to reduce the amount of time I am reliant on our forced air, electric central heating furnace which costs $2.64 an hour to operate. This heater runs economically and will help mitigate the expense of using the furnace. It is very well made with a nice fit and finish. There are three heat settings to choose from. We operate on Setting 1, as it throws a substantial amount of heat on its own. Setting 3 is the least economical but while it is on, you can smelt iron ore! The heater uses the same gas bottle as your BBQ grill, so it can do double duty: Heat for winter, cook in summer. There is some assembly required but there are useful diagrams and small tools supplied to complete assembly. The tools are rubbish but adequate if that's all you have. In 15 minutes, it is ready to go. Four casters allow the cabinet to be moved easily. Two Suggestions: Purchase from Amazon, the shorter gas flow gauge that will tell you how much fuel you have remaining to eliminate the empty tank surprise. Second, If you are unfamiliar with gas operated devices, have someone who is, connect it up for you. The process is very straight forward and no real skill level is required, but its GAS and it requires a bit of care. If you connect up your gas BBQ, you will be fine. I researched what was for sale and found this unit to be very reasonably priced with all of the features I was looking for. You can spend more, but I feel needlessly. I can recommend this heater to anyone in need of a clean heating source without hesitation. ... show more
