Overall it’s a really good product although there are a couple design features that are not conducive to a smooth process to use it and take it down. The cheap plastic knob for turning the burner on and lighting is very fragile and the smoothness of rotating to put it in storage mode is difficult at best, It took me many tries to get it unlocked to drop it down. On the plus side it kicks out great heat as long as you’re standing close and everyone thought it was very attractive. Oh by the way, make sure you check all of the gas fittings when you get it as I could clearly smell fuel until I tightened them all up again (not the propane tank, these are the factory installed ones). We had a very popular tailgate as a result of the heat.

Good looking unit. Heat is good but not great. Maybe a little form over function. Is a little finicky in start up. I’ve had some challenges with it but the seller has been extremely responsive in helping me resolve them.

I will say that with all this Covid stuff going on we finally gave in and ordered some patio heaters for our restaurant. After seeing all the ugly ones out there, this one caught our attention. While it is a little more expensive then the ugly ones, it far outdoes itself with the cool flame. Many of our guests were so impressed with it, that they asked where they can purchase one for their house. The flame is totally mesmerizing and really ads to the ambiance. We liked it so much we ordered a second one. As for heat output it is ok, not sure how much heat outdoor heaters are suppose to produce but placed next to a dinning table everyone could feel the heat and was comfortable. Many guests just enjoyed standing outside just beside it and felt plenty warm. Because it puts out a huge flame it does go through propane tanks fairly fast. We crank ours up all the way and one tank lasts around 12 hours. I suspect if we lowered the flame it would last longer. Definitely recommend!

We purchased this heater exactly one year ago and only used for one season. We put a new propane bottle in last night and tried to start and the igniter switch is already bad. The unit will turn on, but you have to manually hold the igniter down to keep it running. A piece of junk for the price.

This patio heater looks great You can barely see the flame in a daylight but you can feel the heat Lights up right away It has a one year warranty Assembled in less then 5 minutes Everybody that sees it loves it You can feel the heat at about 3 to 5' from the unit Much better than my other heater that has the heat way up in the air Which can only be felt when you stand up and if wind blows the flames blow every where I would definitely buy it again. The wind is blowing at 29mph at times and it makes no difference still fills great. The only scary part is if and when the glass tube ever brakes it won't be cheap to replace it but it looks easy to do. Update I used a one pound tank with an adapter from home depot I put the tank in a bucket of tap water and set the heater at low this is the sitting I always use it ran for one hour. I am very pleased I thought it would use more than that I hooked up my tank I'm going to sit back and have a beer Just love this heater.

UPDATE: The "customer service department" sent me this reply: "... due to the different actual operating environment, and we don't have other relevant videos for reference, we cannot send you the corresponding correct parts of the accessories in a faster and more accurate way. Or here is a faster way for you, you can go to the local professional to repair, we are willing to refund this part for you. Hope you can understand." In essence, there is NO support for this heater and the vendor asks that we supply our own time, dollars, and expertise fixing poor workmanship. Buying this heater is a risk! I do not recommend this product or this company. ------------------------------------------ Original review: We normally use the taller reflective patio heaters and were hoping this unit would provide all the benefits and offer an added aesthetic interest. Compared to the lamp post style, these heaters are: - not as warming (all the heat goes out the top) - more difficult to light (the time to heat the thermocouple is 4-6 times the other versions. You just stand there hoping it will stay lit) - Heavier / harder to move - Collapsible / easier to store - Will accommodate a 40 pound gas cylinder, which is great The disappointing part is that the igniter was dead on arrival. I called tech support and was promised a new igniter that I would have to install. Instead, I was sent a snarky email from the product support team apologizing that their phone support people were not doing a good job... (Dear friend, We are after sale service team from BALI OUTDOORS, we are so sorry for bothering you. We are sorry that the email description forwarded by our colleague of phone service is not very clear, so we need to further confirm the information with you.) and suggesting I try some troubleshooting tips. Unfortunately this called for disassembling the top half of the heater. I'm already going to have to take the bottom apart if and when they send the new igniter so I figured I would try their directions. As it happens, the pictures on the troubleshooting manual were incorrect on several points and actually instructed me to remove the wrong parts and screws. See the attached image. Eventually I made it to the igniter and thermocouple and everything was in the right spot, just nonfunctional. I have emailed one last time and am waiting a few days before duct taping the whole mess into a ball and return. I'm sorry to say this purchase is an expensive roll of the dice. Many here seem to have had a good experience. Others, not. Up to you if you value beauty over warmth and don't mind risks!

Very happy. Easy to put together, and the ambiance of the whole unit and circling flame is so inviting. Used near our spa and visible to our outdoor eating area and terrace against the background of the beautiful Pacific Coast. We read before purchase about the low heat output which was ok with us living in Central California. Sitting close to the unit we do feel the heat but not enough to keep us warm enough if we lived in the northern part of CA. Overall we are extremely happy with Bali.

Admittedly I live in a coastal town so it doesn't get too cold here and at 60 I'm frosty. :-) As such, I find the heat output is plenty warm to support outside entertainment. The heater itself is beautiful and upscales the environment. We love it and would totally buy again.
