Black temperature off/on knob split when I tried to use it for the first time. Glued it back together using Epoxy…and the knob split again in a different spot…so I epoxied the second crack in the knob and so far it appears to be holding. Heating element and gas connection have been fine so far.

Hooks up easily to bother propane tank. Igniter works well on the one I received. Only kept running with supervision. Was hoping to use in my greenhouse but feel leaving it unattended would not be advised. Does heat up the area fast 8x16. I like that it is portable and can be taken anywhere I may need it.

Do not buy this propane heater.absolutely nothing but a show peace.igniter didn't work and gas stopped flowing when button was released. The base for heater unit is a very flimsy peace of aluminum that dosent tighten up to unit. If there is an accidental tip over i would amagine the hole unit would break rite off of propane tank.The worst part about purchase is you can't return it for a refund on the Amazon page and is huge hassle getting refund through Amazon by contacting them on phone. Very disappointed. 5 star's for it's safety function because it doesn't work anyways. Donate 50 dollars to a charity instead .

The idea is great, but the actual experience was frustrating. First issue was the igniter. Ours was hit-or-miss and ended up not working the way it should, which is the last thing you want when you’re dealing with propane. On top of that, it wouldn’t stay running consistently once you let go of the button, like the gas flow just stopped. We double-checked everything and it still felt like we were fighting with it every time. The other big problem is the build quality. The base/bracket that attaches to the tank felt really thin and flimsy, and it never felt fully secure. With kids and a dog constantly around, I need something that feels stable, and this didn’t. It honestly made me nervous that if it tipped or got bumped, it could break right off the tank. For the cost, it was not worth the value in our case. If you get one that works, maybe it’s fine, but based on what we received, I wouldn’t recommend it.
