I purchased this vacuum in October 2022 and wish I had chosen something else. Since I paid $200 I will continue to use (maybe), it's been 1 year and I really don't like it. The suction is pretty good when using without the wand but decreases when the wand is added. The design is horrible! I mainly use this vacuum on my hardwood floors, cobwebs, and my car. I tried it on carpet and rugs, a no go for me. I'll stay with my Shark for carpet cleaning. If I could give less than 1 star for maneuverability, I would. It is a fight each time I have to use this vacuum and I dread it. Cons: the hose is to short for the placement on top of the machine. You are constantly fighting with the vacuum to move along and get your work done. The unit does not move easily; with the hose being short you are constantly fighting to move around (keep in mind I'm using on hardwood, not carpet, it shouldn't be a fight). With the hose being too short using for cobwebs on the ceiling is a nightmare. I have to carry a table from room-to-room to set the vacuum on top of to clean cobwebs. On my 12 foot ceilings I have to get the ladder out and literally hold the vacuum handle in my left hand (it's heavy) and the vacuum wand in my right hand to clean. Lets talk about the wand! The wand is wobbly at the adjustment sight, I constantly feel like it will break. I feel that if the wand was more secure you would gain suction power by eliminating the draft. ... show more

I had a Miele vacuum for 20+ years and it died - instead of repairing I decided to take a chance on the Prolux Tritan canister. I am so glad I did - suction is amazing on my hardwood floors, has an extra long cord and easy maneuverability. It resembles the Miele canister in style but I think the suction on the hardwood floors is better than the Miele - on carpet it's fine - I think once the beater bar isn't in complete contact with floor it loses a bit of suction but I bought it specifically for hardwood floors and I'm not disappointed. The only drawback would be the accessory attachment doesn't stay on pole well - all in all you will not be disappointed!! ... show more

Bonnie Caouette 6 hours ago (edited) I just received my cleaner yesterday, did a near-whole house cleaning and felt that I had worked harder than with my upright. I feel like the hose could be longer by a couple of feet, minimum; here's why: ONE - in effort to position the wand fully upright, as in perpendicular to the floor surface to clean the floor in tight spaces, it draws the cannister right up to my feet, with no more maneuverability. Then, I have to push it away to take a step backward. TWO- Due to short hose length, I experienced quite a bit of tugging to pull the canister closer, then pushing it away to get a full 'stride' of floor cleaning, if that makes sense. The tool caddy---- being attached to the wand within the 'working zone' resulted in repeatedly knocking the tools off the caddy and then going through the house to locate them. It would make better sense to have the caddy attached to the machine itself. Before writing this, I revisited many resources to ensure I was getting all the necessary information to correctly operate my new machine, including this video as I could not find any images to clearly demonstrate the use of the clip on the side of the machine; not clearly defined in the instructions; and I didn't even know there was one on the bottom as that is not included in the features key. This video helped me make sense out of how to use the two storage clips; obvious now. As for quality of the machine - I was a bit surprise at the lightweight plastic and do have concern over how long it may be until the machine cover cracks from the inevitable bumping into things. The floor tools are also surprisingly lightweight where I expected a bit more weight. The dusting attachment could definitely be wider; it's like using a toothbrush to clean; I'd say the brush part could be a bit softer to provide a more gently glide over the surfaces on which it may be used. The best feature of the dusting brush is it's swivel design as the curve of the hose-end forces the angle of approach; that is mitigated with the swivel feature. The crevice tool.....the loudest part of the overall operation, as I experienced. It could definitely stand to be longer, by at least twice the current length. I would say also that the brush part of the crevice tool might be better as an optional attachment. As for condition on arrival - there was one loose and broken part in the box, appears to be the cover of the spring mechanism for extending the want. Exposed is a sharp-edged white plastic part, holding the spring in place; while I was still able to extend/retract the wand, this will need to be replaced. I spent a long time researching and deciding prior to my purchase. I'd like to say I am impressed; in all fairness, I think I just need time to get a better feel of this plastic machine. ... show more

This vacuum cleaner is portable, sucks up dirt quickly, and is a great value. I use it upstairs in my bedroom area, bathroom, and the on the stairs. I only have carpeted floors and linoleum in the bathroom and kitchen.

I use this vacuum for area rugs and hardwood floors, it's the best vacuum I have ever used because of its adjustable suction power. I increase the power on hardwood floor and dicrease on area rugs. I also like its sealed HEPA filter, I only now ordered a replacement after using it for about 2 years because it looks dark. ... show more

Me sorprendió gratamente el poder de succión, tengo apenas unos días usándola y la tengo en lo mínimo. Un poco pesada para mi gusto pero esta bien. No me gusta el tipo de manguera que es, ojala me equivoque pero estas mangueras suelen doblarse muy fácilmente. El cable de corriente excelente medida para lo que necesito.
