  • Disappointed
Style: Pro 9000 Smart Treadmill
For the price of this treadmill one would think the quality would be way better. The tablet is very lagging and the whole treadmill moves when running even after I made sure everything was tightened. The treadmill belt shifts while running every now and then and it throws me out pace. I set up a return and for it to be picked up only for no one to show up and no call or email any why it never happened. ... show more

  • It works fine but came with scratches.
Style: Pro 9000 Smart Treadmill
Not the best packaging for Delivery. It has 4 scratches noticeable and one crack on plastic. It wont let me post pictures. But I don't want to go through returning it and to assemble another one. It seems to work good though. Fan is a little loud too.

  • Not suitable for home assembly.
Style: Pro 9000 Smart Treadmill
The delivery was 2 hours past the latest ETA, so tied me to the house for five (5) hours in order to be present for delivery. Assembly is a 10 man-hour, and largely requires two people (WOW!). The powder coating on many body pieces is so thick that screws have to be driven in and out 3 or 4 times before they finally grip, and you're afraid the whole time that you're going to strip them. There are left and right plastic moldings at the floor level that aren't even shown in the assembly diagrams, and you realize near the end that they needed to be installed near the beginning of the build. The piston attach bar under the bottom side of the treadmill, doesn't have screws to mate with, just two long slots - either the treadmill should have come with big nuts or it's a design defect At this point I gave up on further assembly and plan to send it back. I see that Amazon is offering to send someone out for assembly problems. Good idea but that adds another week delay before I can use a treadmill, and I've already waiting two weeks for delivery. When there are known assembly issues of this magnitude, either the product was unsuitable for sale in the first place or the assembly person should have come at the time of delivery, not to mention that I'll have to make an appointment in another 3 hour window where they'll arrive 2 hours late like yesterday. If I had it to do over again, I would NOT buy this treadmill from Amazon. ... show more

Screen is very laggy, and belt makes noise when movinG Tried contacting Amazon for a replacement, and Josh S., a supervisor, hung up on me. So disappointed with this purchase.

  • Not the features expected
Style: Pro 9000 Smart Treadmill
You have to use the ifit program to use the treadmill. You cannot watch movies on streaming services as I had read, which was the main reason for this purchase. Machine works great but extremely disappointed by the technology wall ifit puts up.

  • Poorly made and terrible customer support
Style: Pro 9000 Smart Treadmill
The media could not be loaded. I bought the more expensive ProForm treadmill thinking I wanted it to be substantial and that I'd get what I paid for. I weigh 210 and the thing is rated to 300, so I figured it could handle me no problem. I bought it 10/2021, received it 12/2021. By 02/2022 it was squeaking with every step--walking, running, any incline. I thought it might be that it needed to get worn-in a bit, so I let it go. By the end of 03/2022 the squeak had become so loud that I couldn't hear the trainer through the weak treadmill speakers and I could still hear the squeak over sound isolating earbuds and music. As the squeak was distractingly loud and obnoxious, I filed a support request with ICON (I guess they are parent company to ProForm?) in 03/2022. They proceeded to try to remotely troubleshoot the issue via email. I would explain what was happening, a few days later they'd respond suggesting I disassemble some part and report back. The thing was four months old at this point, well within the warranty, and they were having me do my own warranty work. They would mail me parts and say I should install them without any explanation for how. They wanted me to try replacing some rubber pads that would have required me to completely disassemble the deck and main belt. This would have been a lot of work, they didn't know if it would fix it, and they wanted me to do it. The squeak is pretty obviously coming from the front of the treadmill and not where these rubber pads go, so it became apparent ICON support was not putting a good faith effort into getting this fixed. I played this game until 05/2022 and finally asked that they send someone to troubleshoot it or fix it as it would be a lot more efficient than trying to troubleshoot it via email with days elapsing between their responses, in addition to saving me time that I shouldn't have to waste fixing something brand new under warranty when I can barely find time to use the treadmill between work and having a toddler and newborn. On 06/02/2022 they finally agreed to send some more parts and a technician to install them. It's now been a bit over a month and one of the parts hasn't even shipped. I called and they said they don't know when it will. All the while the clock on the warranty is running out. This "support" process has been going for four months now and nothing has been fixed, though a lot of my time has been wasted. When I eventually get the part, and they schedule the tech to replace, it may not even fix the issue and I'll still be saddled with my $2000 useless machine. If they would just send someone to see it in person, they might be able to figure out what to repair or replace without all the wasted time and parts. They also will not replace the treadmill or let me return it because the grace period for that extends only 30 days from purchase. "That's ridiculous!" you may be thinking. "Nothing can break bad enough to replace or return within just 30 days." Well, since the treadmill didn't even get to me within 30 days of purchase, that's a moot point. Additionally, it did last through 30 days of use before it started squeaking, so I wouldn't have been able to take advantage of that even if it had arrived within 30 days. All in all, I hope they eventually get it working normally because I have no way of getting my money back. However, I'll be steering clear of anything ProForm going forward. ... show more

  • DON'T BUY PROFORM - HERE'S WHY
Style: Pro 9000 Smart Treadmill
My ProForm Pro 5000 treadmill was great when it ran for a little while but i've had lots of problems with it. Now it's not working at all. Customer service said that they will not provide a list of authorized repair techs in my area. They tried to force me to pay them up front $159 plus travel fees for a diagnostic visit and then I would also be responsible for a second visit and parts for the actual repair. They literally won't share the name of the authorized repair facility or tech. What is wrong with this company? No product is perfect and that's why a good customer service and repair program is important. Don't make the mistake I made. AVOID BUYING PROFORM PRODUCTS. ... show more
