I bought this yesterday apprehensive of what it would do considering the low price. I put it together in a couple of minutes and started using it. I had a bound carpet rug in my bedroom and had just removed it because of several years of dog pee, etc. Needless to say, the porcelain tile floor was a mess! Very dirty and not smelling so good. I got to work using the steamer, going slow to allow it to work. I let it dry for about 20 minutes then came back with a clean, white damp paper towel to see if it really cleaned the floor. It was completely clean! And the smell was completely gone as well. This little machine is exactly what I was looking for - I don’t like to have to read a lot of instructions and this is so simple! Just put the pad on the bottom, fill the tank with water, push the on button and wait about 20 seconds and it’s ready to go! The tank lasts long enough for a large room. Affordable, heats up quickly, can do 3 rooms before having to refill & cleans well. I really like there is a separate spot to put your cleaner. I wish it cleaned closer to the edges of baseboards. I have textured laminate flooring, so the pad can catch occasionally if I try to scrub too hard. Only comes with 2 pads but they're washable. You'll definitely need extra pads if your floors have not been deep cleaned, because they will be filthy. Love how lightweight & easy to store it is. I prefer this design over having to remove the tank or lay it flat to fill it. ... show more
