    • I will NEVER use normal wheels again. These changed my experiences.
These wheels have removed my need to carry a flashlight at night. Unless I'm going incredibly slow (i.e. I'm texting and don't want to stop, but should) do i stall on small cracks/branches The waves in the wheel really do make a major difference. I can easily roll from the lightest kick. I don't have great vision, residually at night, and after not seeing an acorn i broke my arm at 25 which was VERY embarrassing. After that i ALWAYS carried a flashlight. Till i got these. Now i don't stress on it. I won't say i "roll" over acorns now, but i don't trip on them anymore. Best example i can think of that most experience are those bumps at crosswalks, they're usually yellow and for the blind i believe. On normal wheels they would immediately bring me to a near complete stop and i couldn't make it past them. I used to avoid them because of that and when I couldn't avoid them I'd hop off the board running to catch my board. Now I'll roll over them. Don't get me wrong they do still slow me down but not by that much. I could easily roll over them now. At first I will admit, they feel a bit unbalanced and you feel the wobble, (much like center of gravity shifted ever so slightly from side to side) i noticed most when i was making sharp turns it used to cause me to slip, but I don't have that issue anymore. ive it a little time and youll notice faster speeds and longer distances, with clean wheels just oiled i used to go from the top of a hill about 250-300 feet before going to slow that i was nearly stopped with these i get to 400-450. That's pretty subjective but it's very noticeable when you ride it. I mean I'd doubt the improvement if not my own experience. Overall my best experience is that rocks/sticks/cracks cause less stumbles and trips when you ride. My ONLY kinda issue is they don't last as long as my normal wheels did. Those lasted me a very long time, well i don't have dates but these ones ones need to be replaced and i ride less than i used to. They do lack.. tread? Idk they don't grip the ground correctly. When I try avoiding things. Now i can't verify they go out quicker but they feel like they stopped working faster, and with so much less contact surface and my avoiding so much less things that would wear them down, it's very likely they are going out faster. None the less. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND these to anyone. I even bought some for my bro, and will buy again. ... show more

These are hands down the most amazing wheels I have ever used on a skateboard! Genius design, never a rough ride, can go anywhere, anytime with my Shark wheels. Prior to these I also own sunset self powered LED wheels, the only reason I would even think about switching back is due the fact that I ride a lot during night and the LED wheels provide such a cool fun and amazing riding experience. Maybe shark and sunset could collab and make an LED shark wheel!!! ... show more

These wheels are something else. I previously bought some Sidewinder shark wheels that rode pretty nice but I wanted something more. So I spent a few more bucks and bought these. It really felt like night and day. My longboard rode faster than before on the same truck and bearing setup that I had before and was able to go over terrain that my other wheels struggled on. I am 41 and I longboard a lot. Living in New England, from fall through winter there are a lot of leaves and sticks on the ground. These wheels are great at avoiding wheel stop crashes. The only downside is they feel a little slower than the 76mm wheels I had before. Not sure if there is a break in period to get through, will have to see. Even if they don't speed up with a little wear in, I will be using these shark wheels 5-6 months a year when the streets and bike path are not clear. While on vacation, I road tested these wheels on a demo deck while my new board was being assembled ( I purchased a new longboard in St Petersburg Florida this fall). I was somewhat sceptical about these wheels but while road testing the demo board, I intentionally aimed for a sizable pile of rock/gravel on the road just to see what would happen. To my suprise, there was no wheel stop or binding, the rocks were pinging out of the way and I never lost momentum. I tried it again and the result was the same.... I was blown away. On the clear road, the ride was smooth without having to push as much as I normally would. I road back to the shop and had the Shark Wheels put on my new board immediately, I was literally sold on them right away. Since my return to Alaska from my vacation, I am replacing the old wheels on my boards to Shark Wheels , these wheels are nothing short of awesome. Buy them, you will not regret it. ... show more

I replaced my 72 mm Gumbalks with these on my Loaded Dervish. A little faster ride, same smoothness, much better grip for carving.

I bought these sharkwheels for my long board and I am absolutely happy with this purchase. A definitely eye catcher! As far as performance go, when riding on these wheels, making your way around the city has never been more easier! These wheels are fast and durable. Makes the ride so much smoother with its groves and just amazing to look at when your looking down at your board. And pebbles and rocks are no problem anymore.
