BUILD QUALITY The overall construction feels solid and professional. The aluminum body is lightweight yet sturdy enough to handle the weight of a skimmer net or vacuum head without bending or flexing too much. The surface finish is smooth, and the pole sections slide in and out fairly easily. However, once extended to the full 16 feet, there’s a bit of noticeable flex — not terrible, but enough to remind you not to push it too hard when scrubbing the deep end. EXTENSION & LOCKING MECHANISM The telescopic adjustment is straightforward, with twist-lock collars that hold decently well once tightened. That said, if you’re dealing with heavy debris or applying downward pressure with a brush, it occasionally loosens slightly and needs a quick re-tighten. For regular skimming and light vacuuming, though, it performs as expected. COMPATIBILITY This pole connects effortlessly with standard pool accessories — nets, brushes, and vacuums click right in with no fuss. The universal end fitting is well-machined, so it fits snugly without that annoying wobble some cheaper poles have. PERFORMANCE In everyday use, it does exactly what you need it to do. It reaches across most residential pools easily, feels balanced in the hand, and maneuvers well in water. Cheap aluminum pole. Worked well until it broke: attachment holes egged out under normal use within 6 months. Final blow was the pole bending at breaking at one of the extension joints. Purchased: February 2025 Broken: December 2025

The build quality is excellent — it’s made from durable yet lightweight aluminum, making it easy to maneuver without feeling flimsy or cheap.
