I really like this cute little can. fairly small (3 Gallon) and takes up very little space but it is perfect for a bathroom, and has ample space. It replaced a more traditional stepcan in my bathroom, and though the old one seemed to require about the same amount of floor space it actually didn’t fit as much trash, based on frequency of need to empty it. I’ve had this about a month or so and it works as described, a little wave of the hand and it’s open and maybe 10 seconds before it closes. It looks nice too. The whole garbage bag is hidden inside, held down by a little plastic ring that is set on top of the bag edge, and the bag opening can then be flipped inward.

So cute, works as expected. I came back to buy another for a different bathroom. I was looking everywhere for a sleek trashcan that HIDES THE BAG. We all use grocery bags right? Im living on my own for the first time and am not going to spend money on the convenient mini trashcan sized bags, and i was tired of seeing cute trashcans everywhere just picturing how my walmart grocery bag would look placed in it. This one does take some effort to get it hidden but the inner ring helps to attach it so it can be completely hidden. Very chic in bathroom. I have been using my second one for 6 months now and have yet to need a battery change.

Great Product! This is easily the best trash bin I’ve ever ver purchased. It’s deeper and more spacious. It has a very sleek and modern design. Doesn’t take up too much space. But the best feature is the motion sensor. Having that extra privacy is everything but how quick and abrupt this trash bin responds to motion is amazing. Definitely gonna purchase another for my guest bathroom.

We’ve lived with this beautiful, streamlined waste paper basket for a bit now and I can say I love looking at it…it’s that attractive. Plastic liners stow away easily with the retainer ring, which also keeps the bag from falling into the can. The liners are secured and invisible when the lid is closed. The color is perfect for our bedroom and I’m ordering another for our bathroom as the 3 gallon size is bigger than our existing can, plus this one is more attractive and has the automatic open and close. I do find that the auto open takes a few passes over the top at times. Could be because the bedroom is dark and the sensor doesn’t see the motion as easily. All in all, we’re very pleased with this attractive little can. It’s definitely an upgrade to our bedroom and was well worth the price.

This a great little trash can. It seems very sturdy. It is VERY SENSITIVE though. The lid opens and closes every time your arm goes by to reach for the toilet paper, or some times on its own. So, it definitely works! 😁

I've only had this a few weeks so I can't speak to durability, but I love its functionality! I was looking for a small can with a lid for my guest bath and powder room: who wants to see other people's trash?! Step cans are fine, but you have to be standing and facing the can to throw anything out. Most people I know throw things out standing at the vanity, sitting on the toilet, or walking by on their way to the shower. And then there's the issue of people with disabilities in a wheel chair... So I really liked the idea of a sensor lid. I was skeptical but pleasantly surprised by this purchase: a) the lid is extremely responsive, and so far, has functioned very well. It opens immediately and stays open long enough and then quietly & discreetly closes. b) I also like that I can line it with a trash bag but the bag remains hidden. c) the fluted design helps elevate it a bit from a "plastic trash can eyesore"; maybe not as artistic as high end brands, but at least it looks like you put thought into it. The only "negatives" I see are: a) it's a lightweight plastic. That can read as "cheap" but if my guests don't actually touch it, the plastic issue is less noticeable; and b) (I'm laughing as I type this) -- the pop-up lid opens so quickly, that I was worried my cat would unknowingly get bonked in the face as he passed by! So that's the only thing that's kept me from getting one for our main bathroom. (He's not allowed in the guest/powder rooms). I'd be curious to know if others with pets have had any issues. If you're looking for a responsive motion-sensored lidded can, don't hesitate to get this.
