Acoustic Audio by Goldwood CSi63S cinema Series 6.5" In-wall/in-ceiling surround sound 3-way speakers are ideal for any home, office or entertainment area because they are designed with supreme performance in mind. Each speaker handles 300 watts of power and includes: a 6.5" Poly cone woofer for improved motion and higher bass response, a butyl rubber surround, a progressive spider for greater control and higher excursion capabilities, a poly mica midrange, a 13mm soft dome tweeter for detailed high frequencies and a 3-way passive crossover for greater fidelity. Spring loaded push terminals allow for easy connectivity and its low profile baffle Housing was designed for simple installation and an improved frequency response. The White grill will coordinate well with any interior, or can be painted to match individual decor. Included is a cutout template to aid in the installation process and full instructions.

I actually purchased 4 pair of these and due to there unexpected in person size. I kept one pair and reordered smaller ones for the bath etc. The sound quality is great. The install is quite simple. Assuming your comfortable crawling around in the attic and fishing wires as well as cutting proper holes where you want them. But other than the infrastructure mentioned. Once the wiring is in and holes established. They simply go in the hole and you crank down the screws that position and draw a clip from the rear toward or against the drywall pinching the drywall between the clamp and flange of the speaker. I was also painting so I took a roller to the grills and outer flange to match and make them less pronounced on the wall. We really enjoy them so far. ... show more

My only real issue with these speakers are the locking screws which are of low quality. 2 of the screw heads were destroyed during the installation, first by my electric screw driver and the second by my manual screw driver. This is the first time I've installed in-wall speakers, the templates were accurate to cut my holes and it was easy to place them into the wall then turn the screws that clamped into the drywall. I had to remove them to install a foam barrier and i was afraid the clamp would come off and fall down behind the wall but the clamp had a backing that kept that from happening. These speakers are very difficult to install. The screws that hold the speakers in place screw into a plastic sleeve that is drilled to the wrong size so that it is extremely difficult to screw them in. I had to re-drill all of the sleeves and then run the screws in and out before trying to work overhead installing them. Once installed they sound good. ... show more
