I installed this unit in a winery tasting room that was having difficulties with getting their glasses clean. The water was very hard and this unit did the trick. It's connected to all of the areas of the tasting room now and the plumbing fixtures are substantially cleaner as is the dishwasher.

This softener did not work on my well water. The softener description indicates that it works on city and well water, I would not believe anyone if they said that this softener worked on their well water. Maybe the one I recieved was faulty, after all it did make my well water worse than with no softener at all. What's worse is I returned the item, they recieved the item, and I have recieved no refund. It has been over a month, customer service said they would expedite my refund 2 weeks ago. Don't buy this junk, Fleck has great softeners for much less. I bought a fleck when this one proved garbage, the fleck worked immediately as it should with no problems. Fast customer service answered about packaging damage. Was willing to exchange immediately, but the scratches were cosmetic. Install3d in short order replacing an existing one. Instructions have you to use 1” flex pipe and fittings. I was hoping to use existing plumbing. But it was too much extra work. Found the flex piping and things went smoothly. ... show more

I also bought the 1,000,000 gallons whole house filtration system after receiving top notch customer service from the company.
