Major blunder by Prestige and Amazon both, product written with 3ltr capacity but the original capacity is 2ltr only. I ordered 3ltr Prestige pressure cooker and I received 2ltr capacity cooker but the box and cooker both were showing capacity of 3ltr. Really strange because the box and cooker both were printed with 3ltr capacity and when I measured it with water it was 2ltr only. How is that possible, how could someone sell a product with wrong information and both renowned companies Prestige and Amazon. Felt so bad.... ... show more

    • Not the usual prestige quality!!!
I have been using prestige cooker for over 10 years now. I can definitely tell this is far behind on quality and durability. It seems this is scrap (defective piece) which they are selling it here. The first one which I ordered, had a faulty safety valve, blown away at first use itself. The replacement order worked fine for 2 weeks and then, first the whistle cap broke up and a week later the cooker is blowing steam from all over.     • Lower handle broke in two after 3 months of usage
The lower handle of the pressure cooker broke in two after only using for 3 months. Tried reaching the warranty provider given in the description but turns out it is for "Royal Prestige" and not for "Prestige". Then looked into user manual to get some contact info and turns out the manual is scanned from UK's user manual. So there is no way to get in touch with the manufacturer to either repair the product or replace them. Would like Amazon to provide the correct details as it was procured and shipped by Amazon or replace or refund. ... show more

This product is poor quality. I’ve used same specifications cooker while in india. Durability was good and it came for long time even in rough use. This one valve blown in 2nd use. It is not safety product. Don’t buy. Not value for money.

I was pretty skeptical after looking at negative comments whether or not go buy the product, as it had safety constraints. But the product delivered was in a good shape, very light weight and did the job. The only problem is once you put it in dishwasher it loses all its shine and in one wash it will appear like the cooker had been used for ages, but hey no complaints there. ... show more

I have used pressure cooker for more than 40 years. Prestige PRP3 Pressure Cooker, 3 Liter is the worst one I have ever used. Moisture spills everywhere since first time used. The cover is detached in 4 months.
