I have been using this particular product from past 18days. It’s been an amazing experience to cook all kinds of dishes in this pressure cooker. We have added advantages of using stainless steel over aluminum i.e, durability and healthy food. This cooker can be used for multi purposes(like cooking rice, dhal, veggies at once using separators/compartment containers or cook idlis given that we have idli plates) because of various sizes. Always loving to cook food in this great kitchenware. Prestige is one of the best and old brands. They have lot of good products out there. Quality construction and has well exceeded my expectations for the price I paid. Capacity for a pot roast for 4 with veggies. Tolerates the dishwasher well but BE SURE to remove the rubber seal first. 3 Years Later This pot had been a real rock that I use at least twice a week to make stock, bean dishes, soups and stews. Makes the best beef stew you ever ate from some crummy 2 dollar meat in 45 mins. Very versatile and heats evenly so you can brown in it easily before you button it up to create additional flavors. Still on my original gasket and pressure valve because I clean them like a freak as soon as I open it up then lubricate with a little whatever handy cooking oil. The only flaw in it's design are the handles loosen about once a year or so but it takes seconds to torque them back nice and tight which prevents the handles from breaking. If I was going to be stuck on a deserted island and could only take one pot or pan to cook with this would be the one I took. ... show more

I soaked the beans overnight and cooked them for 30 minutes. Chicken legs also in 30 minutes and the vegetables in less than five minutes. Great meals in less than an hour.

I started using the pressure cooker after the 30 day window for returns. To my dismay, the small 'weight' that is used to build pressure was in two pieces and it was impossible to screw them back together. On the whole, I was unable to cook some lentils. Very unhappy with the purchase !
