  • I'm happy with mine.
Style: 3-bike
It folds up easily. I stick it back in the box it came in when not in use. I would suggest to use scratch protector pads with the hooks. There are some that can be found on Amazon that are made specifically for this. This is smart for any brand or model of trunk rack and not a fault of this particular one. It's well-built and sturdy. It's not damaged my car. Pretty easy to set up and put away, though it would be nice to have some type of clip for the extraneous strapping that is left over when tightened. I generally just wrap it around whatever i can. For what it is, I don't have any complaints, and would confidently recommend this model to anybody who wants to take their bike(s) places. I really wish i'd gotten one sooner. I live about 10-15 minutes from the beach, and up a huge hill, so it's nice to take my bike to the beach and ride, where it wouldn't really have been doable without this. But makes a world of difference in my cycling experience. ... show more

  • Running strong for a year with 3 bikes on my toyota Rav4!
Style: 3-bike
I am so glad I have this easy solution. My kids and I get out to ride our bikes as often as possible and this device has never failed us. I leave it up on our bike trips and store it in the trunk when not in use. I find that it's difficult to remove the top clips unless my trunk hatch door is a smidge open (about an inch). Just wanted to come back and leave a review as it has worked very well for our scenario, crossover suv, one adult bike and two kids bikes. Ride on! ... show more

  • GREAT rack! Took my bikes from Phonix to Seattle with no issues!
Style: 3-bike
I LOVED this rack. I was super skeptical at first because I thought it was kind of risky to buy what seems like a "cheap" rack for my bikes, but decided to give it a chance after reading other reviews. This bad boy went all the way from Phoenix to Seattle (about 1500 miles) without any issues whatsoever. I used 2 bungee cords to make sure the bikes were secured tight enough to the rack for all of the hills and because I took my tire off my road bike and it was perfect. I was definitely scared with the hills and tight turns in the mountains of Oregon and northern California, but I kept checking the rack whenever we would stop for gas and not once did it become loose or even budge a millimeter when I tried pulling on it to test it. We had to take the rack and bikes off at night and put it back on in the morning and it was extremely quick and easy every time. I thought I'd throw this rack out when we got here, but it's in perfect condition and I will continue to use it. I feel extremely confident in the rack and will bot hesitate to put a third bike on it if I get one. I cannot believe how great this rack was and cannot recommend it enough. Thank you for making an affordable and reliable product! ... show more

  • Good solid bike rack for a hatch back car
Style: 3-bike
I'm using this on a Tesla Model S and it works perfectly. Make sure to read the instructions properly about how to fasten it. Don't assume you can just figure it out. Tighten the straps on both sides so they don't come off. I've been driving hundreds of miles with the bikes on the back, even in windy conditions, and the bikes are just there solid. I'm very happy with this purchase and it fits very nicely with a Tesla Model S ... show more

  • 2017 Kia Sorrento - fits like a glove. 100% Satisfied
Style: 3-bike
No issues on install. No issues on security. I probably had it installed on the truck in about 5-10 minutes. I did buy some straps to secure the spinning wheels. I did scratch the truck but that was my fault for leaving the kickstand down the first installed bike. It felt strong, and secure and during a test road trip and follow up trip, the bikes were secure. 100% happy and satisfied. If you're on the fence on this one, pull the trigger. You'll be pleased . ... show more

  • Great three-bike rack - 1000 miles at 70 mph no problem!
Style: 3-bike
I bought this rack for a 1000 mile road trip from Florida to Virginia for the TransAm and it didn't disappoint. I have previously owned a cheap and cheerful Bell two-bike rack that did the job but it was not as well constructed or as stable as this rack. I had three Specialized hybrids on the rack (1x large, 1x medium & 1x small frame) and it worked a treat on the trunk of a Nissan '17 Altima rental. All three bikes had rear pannier racks (one also with a front fork rack), I took the pedals off to ensure fit and that so that the frames wouldn't scratch, and the seats off to reduce the weight and windage. Windy and rainy the whole way up but the rack had no problems, even considering it was running at about 90% of its 100lb rating. A few white-knuckle moments for me at 70-ish Mph going over bumps coming off of bridges on the I-70, but the rack didn't budge. I had to re-tighten the sidestraps once (about 1/16") after about 200 miles when I detected a slight left to right wobble starting, but it is to be expected with a new rack with straps that have yet to stretch and I had heaps of notice in the rear-view mirror. No Requirement to adjust the top and bottom (elasticised) straps. I used some bungees to ensure that the wheels stayed tight together and some old neoprene taped on to three or four points across three bikes where I thought they may rub on such a long journey. I like the rubber straps used to keep the bikes in the frame over the velcro on my last rack. The inner bike was well clear of the trunk and rear bar of the Altima. I read some reviews critical of how hard it is to fit three bikes onto the frame, but in reality it's a breeze (alternate them front to rear) and if you're not prepared to spend five minutes taking off the pedals you deserve to get your car or bike scratched! I see how if you used it all the time it could possibly wear the contact points on the paint of the trunk, and I would address this with some rubber (maybe old inner tube?) in between the mounting strap hooks and the trunk. Great rack for the price (even better for me as I bought it as a Warehouse Deal!) and I highly recommend it for those who can't have or don't want a permanent rack and need to move three bikes. ... show more

  • Great bike rack
Style: 3-bike
This was my first and only experience using a bike rack, and luckily this one is super easy to set up and use. I used it to transport my son's bike 300 miles and it worked perfectly. I think it's important to mention that smaller kids' bikes (my son has a 16in Schwinn) do NOT fit on the rack in the "normal" way. I had to turn it upside down to get it to fit. Since the straps don't go around "correctly", I added a couple bungee cords and the bike lock to make sure it was secure - and it stayed put. So overall, a very nice product that will get lots of use in the future. ... show more
