Oh my goodness! My husband and I are Seniors and we use this sitting down. It works! Does it get the circulation going and that was what I was hoping for. My husband had a stroke a few years back, his left side does not work as well, hard for him to walk. We have been so worry about his circulation, with this machine, he feels his body coming alive. (5/1/21) Update: I highly recommend this vibration machine. Not only do I have more strength but motivation to move. I am 65. Gives me energy and feeling of well-being. Reminds me of the Rebounder only the machine does the work for you! I have family members interested in purchasing one for themselves, after trying mine.     • Recommended - but not an all encompassing workout
I don’t usually write reviews but I think this is a product that more information would help others. I read a number of reviews before purchasing this item. Like so many others I was looking for a simple workout that would do it all. I read a review written by a 66 year old gentleman here on Amazon. His honest review was the clincher for me to purchase. I am 57 with genetic knee issues and a bad shoulder that my orthopedist said I may have to undergo shoulder replacement surgery. For almost 2 solid months I used the PowerFit vibration platform 6 days a week, twice a day Monday-Friday, once on Saturday. I was using it for 15 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes at midday. I also purchased 2 pound hand weights rather than the elastic cables that came with it. First off, I didn’t lose any weight. Nor did I lose inches. What I did lose was pain. My shoulder is remarkably better and my arthritis in my knees and hips is not even noticeable. Three weeks ago I went back to my elliptical, exercise bike, and weight stack. But what I did was I continued my vibration platform routine. Now I do cardio (elliptical or bike) and lift weights each morning followed by 10 minutes of vibration platform (no hand weights). It has kept me from being sore from the other exercises. Then I do 15 minutes on the vibration platform using the hand weights at midday. I find myself more flexible and my stamina for walking has improved,. I recommend the platform but caution that it is not a complete workout. ... show more

So glad to have this reasonably priced and fast shipping and I have a lot of pain and I use it twice a day and it’s really help my pain you can feel the circulation improving I can’t think of any downside to owning this and I’m really glad I bought it and all my friends come over and use it and love it to it is helped my knee and hip pain and is really relaxing I’m not standing up on it yet so I just have it at the base of my easy chair and it does it’s magic I think it’s making a difference and I I’m very happy 71 yrs old And I do exercise a fair amount but this feels wonderful after a long day ... show more

Powerfit is a great device. I feel so much better around my hips and can easily walk the stairs now. overall it helped me to move much better and I feel more happy.
