  • Worth every penny (Ender 3-V3)
The media could not be loaded. Wow, this thing is awesome. It took me probably an hour to assemble it but I was taking my time making sure I didn't screw something up. I printed a benchy first and it came out great and only took about 13 minutes. It was loud and vibrating my desk like crazy but the printer didn't seem to care. My other prints have also came out great. The printer is a lot quieter when it's not running at full speed, nor does it vibrate as much. Bed leveling works great and so does all the other automated task. My only issue is that the spool holder is in an awkward spot. When the print head rises it pulls extra filament up with it, then when it goes down all that extra filament gets pushed down and under the bed plate. It doesn't catch or cause any issues but it bends an awful lot and one day the filament line might fracture or hang on something, like the motor wire. You can move it and 3D print a guide but this shouldn't be an issue, please fix this Creality. I understand Bambu Lab printers are slightly better but the fact this printer doesn't require a constant internet connection to print and works with open source splicers is a worthwhile trade off for me. ... show more

  • Upgrade from the Ender 3 pro in every way.
The media could not be loaded. Assembly took about 15 minutes, instructions were clear and the hardware was all labeled. Comes with a CR-Touch that's pretty nice to have, direct drive for flexible filaments, and this thing is ridiculously quiet. The fans are kind of high pitched and the loudest part of the printer, but not enough so to dock a star. This thing is silent compared to other variants of this style printer. It also comes with a runout sensor which is nice. So far the print quality is great. It was a little tricky to set up with octoprint, but nothing too serious The only con that I can think of is the flexible build plate that comes with it. I printed one single thing on it and it was basically trash after. I had spare glass sheets from my other printer, so I slapped one of them on it and it's all good. I won't dock a star for that either since I knew the pros and cons ahead of time and planned to switch to glass either way. Overall, if you're looking to get into 3d printing or just upgrade an old ender, you won't regret getting this one. ... show more

  • My 3rd printer and one my favorite
The first one I ordered at like 8pm arrived the next morning at 8 I was super happy but on power up the first time it only ran for 30 seconds and died. I opened it up and seen it blew the fuse on the main board. I replaced it and it popped immediately. I was sad but I went to amazon and did a return and they sent me a 2nd one and gave me 30 days to return the first one. same thing but it didn't arrive until 7pm the 2nd time. So far, this one has run flawlessly nonstop since I got it seriously it goes 24 hours a day for two months solid now and it turns out the best prints out the 3 printers I own. The Z has always stayed level since the first time I set it up and removing parts are easy and clean it has become my go to printer for when I want a perfect part over my ender 5 and my Flash forge (POS). Definitely like the Creality printers my ender 5 isn't really an ender 5 anymore with all the upgrades and the quality isn't as good as this ender 3 S1. Great machine I plan on getting another one you won't be disappointed it this machine and the seller has my respect for quickly replacing the bad unit I unfortunately got the first time no questions asked. PS the best Filament I run on this E3-S1 is and I used a lot of different kinds is all the amazon basic pla except the color black for some reason. 90% the time I'm running for strong parts like handles brackets and machine type parts is Priline carbon fiber pla and pc it makes beautiful parts it's the best filament hands down in my opinion on all my machines really just be sure to use blue tape with the carbon fiber filament, so you don't need to scrape on your build plate. Hope this helps someone out looking for a good printer at not a crazy price. ... show more

  • Easy to use, small bed size
This is a review of the Creality HALOT-ONE. I'm new to resin printing and chose this one based on other reviews. For the most part it's an easy to use printer. Setup is easy and I was able to get the printer online without cracking open the manual. The first few test prints from the online website printed perfectly. Then came a lot of learning on how to properly level the machine, slice models for printing including rafts and supports, cleaning, prep, removal, UV curing, etc.. Expect to go through a couple bottles of resin before you can reliably print anything. Beds will go out of alignment, FEP will wear out, failed prints will pile up. Main issues are with resin printing ni general. It's incredibly messy sometimes, it takes a long time for each print (hours), sometimes it feels like you need several attempts before figuring out the right combination of print speed, bed raising height, raft size, etc.. Once you figure that out, this printer is quite good. The renders are detailed, much more so that with a filament printer. The software is pretty good and it was easy enough to get what I needed without reading the manual. Having online capability is also useful. Outside of that, the only real complaint is that the bed is fairly small. ... show more

  • beginner friendly
This 3-D printer has been perfect for us. My boy that is eight years old really wanted a 3-D printer, but I wanted him to get something that he would be able to use on his own. He has been able to things very easily with very little help from us. The quality is really great as well. I for sure thought in order to get quality like this. We needed a very expensive 3-D printer, but I was wrong. He has created 3-D dragons, axolotl’s, and each one has turned out so cool. He was even able to pause his print halfway through and change out the filament to another color. I definitely recommend it for any beginners ... show more
