It didn’t work. I can’t access Live View, and it doesn’t record motion—it just stays loading. I tested the same doorbell with the same settings on batteries, and it worked fine.

I had high hopes for this power adapter and mount bracket for my Blink doorbell, but unfortunately it didn’t work for me. The setup seemed straightforward, and I followed the instructions by removing the battery and connecting everything properly, but the doorbell never powered on with the adapter. The idea is great because replacing batteries gets old quickly, and the protective bracket is sturdy and well-made. However, since I couldn’t get it to function with my camera, it ended up being more frustrating than helpful. If it had worked, it would have been a solid solution to keep my doorbell charged without worrying about batteries, but in my case it just didn’t deliver.

I love this cord and mound...just what I needed to get my camera up and going. The good: 3M double sided tape aloud for easy NO DRILL install of the camera, the power cord is super long (that was why I ordered this..) making install of camera and power possible & the color black aloud for a finished look to the install project. 5 STARS.

When I found this product, I was excited for several reasons. I appreciated finally finding an alternative to constantly changing batteries. Blink devices require lithium batteries, which are extremely expensive, but doorbell cameras pick up a lot of movement so they drain battery life quickly. The ease of continuous power supply was a great advantage. However... there's a con. The power cord provided never worked to power my doorbell camera, so I have been unable to use the product. Second, the hooded mount is a bit difficult to open and close, and I feared at times I would break it. I suppose that is a good thing so no one could tamper with your doorbell. However, the con is that the power cord is completely exposed with this design so all someone has to do is unplug your doorbell. Because the cord access is so obvious someone could even approach your door and maliciously cut your cord. With that in mind, the design could be better, to at least protect the cord connection a bit more. I will be trying to find another cord to hopefully make this product work, but I am not sure I will be using it long term. I am uneasy with how exposed the cord is to anyone who has access to my front porch.

For the price, I wanted this to work. It initially powered on my Blink gen1 doorbell camera & seemed to work. People could ring it and it would notify my phones, but it wouldn't stay fully connected so I couldn't access its camera regularly through the app. Had to return it. It might work for some other smart doorbell cameras. Not sure
