Thought its gonna relieve from the pain of changing batteries every now and thwn and complains of door bell not working. But sadly the ring door bell only works as door bell but donot let me stream camera virw or arm the camera for motion detection. When i connect my blink using this powerplug connector. All the time i receive the error message like there is something wrong. The moment i change to batteries, eveeything back to normal.

I had high hopes for this power adapter and mount bracket for my Blink doorbell, but unfortunately it didn’t work for me. The setup seemed straightforward, and I followed the instructions by removing the battery and connecting everything properly, but the doorbell never powered on with the adapter. The idea is great because replacing batteries gets old quickly, and the protective bracket is sturdy and well-made. However, since I couldn’t get it to function with my camera, it ended up being more frustrating than helpful. If it had worked, it would have been a solid solution to keep my doorbell charged without worrying about batteries, but in my case it just didn’t deliver.

I picked up the Power Adapter and Adhesive Doorbell Mount for my Blink Video Doorbell, and overall, I'm quite pleased with the setup. The 5V doorbell transformer and the generous 18ft weatherproof cable are definite highlights, allowing for a continuous power supply without relying on batteries, which was my main goal. Installation was surprisingly straightforward. The adhesive mount held strong on my doorframe, and routing the cable was easy enough thanks to its ample length. It's a huge relief not having to worry about battery life, especially during colder months. The continuous power means my doorbell is always ready to go, and I've noticed a more consistent performance from the camera as well. The build quality of both the power adapter and the cable feels robust and durable, living up to the "weatherproof" claim. It's been through a few rain showers already with no issues. My only minor quibble, and what keeps it from a perfect 5-star rating, is that while the adhesive mount is convenient, I do wonder about its long-term reusability or if I ever needed to reposition it. It didn’t work. I can’t access Live View, and it doesn’t record motion—it just stays loading. I tested the same doorbell with the same settings on batteries, and it worked fine.

I have a blink doorbell, which I really like, but it goes through batteries like crazy! This is exactly what I needed! Fit and finish is awesome, and it includes everything you need to install, even the wall plug! Installation is just as easy as the original bracket, but it provides more protection and functionality than the original. With the low price, it will pay for itself I'm just a few months of not having to buy batteries. Blink should include one of these in every doorbell they make!
