I purchased this because our old printer won't work on our phones, and for traveling this is compact enough that it doesn't take up much space. You also can print on either roll or flat paper, so when we're on the road and need to print stuff this works perfectly, easy enough software setup.

This printer isn't too dissimilar to other printers of its kind. The value of this printer is about on par. The print quality is decent, althugh the design of this printer means your prints will largely be curled because they come from a roll. The added benefit of having its own case and not being overly large is nice. This is something you could store in a car fairly convienently and wouldn't be overly difficult to carrry around in a backpack, though, for anything you have to submit to others you might not want to. Has both wired and wireless connection options and wide compatiability with devices. However, the mobile able leaves a lot to be desired. You will get the job done eventually but becuase you HAVE to use the app to print it does limit what you can print or at the very least make it more difficult than it should be which introduced friction and you might choose not to print anything. As an aside, confusingly, they give regular printer paper along with the printer. I am not sure why since this printer only works with rolled paper. Though, it does come with spare rolls which is really nice!

I own three travel printers because they are so handy to have around. Being able to print out a list for someone or create a shipping label without worrying about toner or computer settings is amazing. I Was excited for vine to send me another one as I needed one to use for my next DnD session away from home. I brought this machine (which comes in a sturdy travel case that can hold a few scrolls of paper in it.) and some flat perforated letter sized paper for character sheets. Once everyone had rolled up their characters, they sent them to me and I was able to print them out at the table from my phone in seconds. If there was a change in stats or just a NPC I needed for a scene I could print out their stats for the encounter to mark on as the game progresses. One of the players wanted to print out a few things and it was a breeze to set their phone up to the machine via Bluetooth and get them going on it. Will hold a standard scroll of letter paper inside the unit that is good for about 20 sheets of paper, that paper will have a curve to it so I bring flat perforated paper to minimize the issue. It prints crisp letters and BW images come through fine with no issues. Greyscale can get a bit dicey, but you can play with the settings to get close to what you want if you are connected to a computer. I also am happy to report that I charged it once in a month and it held enough of a charge that I didn't need to charge it again for another two weeks before the warning light came on.

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I don’t have a printer. I also don’t have a car. This has meant that for the last 10+ years, every time I have to print something, I have to take a train to the library to print it off. This means having to print off just one page takes me around four hours. Printers are expensive, ink is expensive, and printers are also quite large and bulky. I’m a broke single mom in a one bedroom apartment. Even if I somehow found a printer for free, I wouldn’t have room for it, and I don’t have a computer to connect it to. This printer is a dream. I don’t need a computer, I can just connect my phone via Bluetooth. This printer is also very small compared to a traditional option- it’s barely bigger than my Bluetooth speaker. When I’m not using it I can easy throw it in a drawer. Its size makes it portable, so as a teacher being able to pack my printer with me to use in my classroom is HUGE. Thermal paper is way cheaper than ink, so this is a much more affordable option to print things off. This works well, it’s small, it’s Bluetooth enabled, it’s affordable, it’s an amazing product. I’m stuck at home with a sick kid, and being able to use this to print off coloring pages for her has been so fun.

The media could not be loaded. This is an all-inclusive thermal printer travel kit that includes the printer, paper rolls, flat sheets, a USB cable, USB-A to USB-C adapter, and a sturdy hardshell case. It is compact, organized, and ideal for on-the-go printing. Setup & App Use: -- Mobile (Easy): Setup via the phone app was seamless. If you are new to thermal printing, the app includes helpful tutorial videos. Note: If you use Google Docs, you must save your file as a PDF before the app will recognize it for printing. -- PC (Tricky): Setting this up on a laptop required some detective work. The instructions suggest searching for “Shipping_Printer_Driver” on their site, which yielded zero results. To find the driver, search for "Printer" on the manufacturer's site, click the product page, and scroll down to the driver link. Performance: Once the driver was installed, the printer worked perfectly. The print quality -- black & white only -- is clear and easy to read. It uses Bluetooth for mobile devices but requires the included USB cable for PC use. I love that the entire kit fits snugly into the hardshell case for protection. Bottom Line: This is a solid 4-star performer. It would be a 5-star product if the PC driver instructions were updated, but once you get past that hurdle, it is a reliable and convenient tool for travel.
