I'm very happy with how bright these lights are and the ability to switch into a Warm light mode. I live in an area with lots of sun, and so the integrated solar panel (as opposed to a separate solar panel with its own position adjustment) made them particularly compact. This makes me less likely to trip over them when walking around in the front yard. I use them to illuminate my house numbers, and they do a great job at night. These solar lights were easy to install in the ground by setting the ground with a carafe of water, using a screw driver to place a pilot hole for the plastic stakes, and then using a rubber mallet to drive the plastic stakes in. The fit of the light onto the top of the stake is tight, and so make sure you are happy with the angle of the light before applying pressure to mount it. I only needed one solar light, but the most economical option was to buy this two pack. I didn't end up having anywhere else I could put the second light, and so I just used both next to each other for a little extra light on our house numbers. It works well. A surprising effect is that sometime in the middle of the night, one of the two lights turns off while the other one stays on for many hours longer. Given that both lights receive roughly the same amount of sun where they are, I suspect that this may have to do with the light from one of the lights creating enough ambient light for the other that it turns off at some point, but I haven't tested this. The other possibility is that one light has a much better battery life than the other. I guess time will tell. In the meantime, these are bright lights (with two brightness options, both of which would probably be sufficient for me) with a warm light that I like (but also a cool option that you might like, but it is a bit too industrial for my stucco walls to take). ... show more

Very inexpensive as far as a four set of solar spots go. Can be turned off, warm hi/low and bright white hi/low. Battery life lasted past 2:00am on hi. Build quality is very cheap brittle plastic. Can be easier broken if not careful. Light beam is fairly wide. Bright enough to accept the house as long as you keep them close. Tilts very high and can be tightened down by hand to keep it in place. If I can get a year out of these I'll be pleased and surprised. ... show more

I've purchased MANY solar lights and these are some of the best. Highly recommended. I have about 12 of them up and running along a retaining wall/garden area. They all worked. Simple lights...a single button to toggle to get 1 of 4 light color/brightness settings. I like that you can toggle it in the middle of the day to see which light setting it's on. I have some solar lights that you have to wait until it's dark to toggle them. The photos are somewhat deceptive because it makes the solar light look much brighter than in actual life. Don't get me wrong...these solar lights are plenty bright, but they are not as bright as they appear in the photos. These pics were taken prior to getting all 12 lights installed. I put in a couple above and below the wall to see if was going to work. I think it did. These are good solar lights...buy them! ... show more

It does shed light for almost 6-7 hours before running out of gas d.
