  • Good for getting a little activity while working at a desk or watching TV
Style: Calorie Tracker
There's not much to say, it's a cheap little bike for getting some leg exercise while sitting and doing something else. Depending on the height of your desk, it may not be possible to pedal it underneath, so make sure to do some measuring first. It can also collapse at the legs for storage purposes, which is a nice touch, but it's not too big or bulky either way. It has a little screen for tracking calories, rotations, etc. I don't know how accurate it is, but it's a nice little feature to include for the low cost of this little bike. It's pretty quiet to pedal, but I did dock one star off the sturdiness because it does wobble a bit and I noticed the rubber around one of the pedal bars is moving. Regardless, it works well for what it's intended for, and it was definitely worth the cost (~$20). ... show more

  • Pedaling machine
Style: Standard
The product seems to be very well made and of quality materials. The device was very easy to assemble and only took about 5 minutes +/- from start to finish. It comes with an adjustable knob on top to set the tension on how smooth and easy or how hard the pedaling will be. The device is compact in size, mobile, and can be easily transported by hand wherever you need to take it. It makes a very simple and easy way to get lower body exercise without ever having to leave your home. Plus this is a great way to exercise at work if you have to sit at a desk for long periods of time while working or just not moving. Overall I would definitely recommend the device to anyone looking for an easy and cheap way to get in exercise without having to leave your home or spend a fortune. ... show more

  • Good inexpensive pedal machine
Style: Standard
My 85-year old mother had a total knee replacement done in 2015. In the last year or so, her mobility has decreased, so after discussion with her primary provider and physical therapist, we agreed to get her this floor pedal machine. It is a very bare bones piece of equipment. As others have mentioned, the stability is poor. Perhaps if the brackets were wider, then it would be more stable. But for $25, it is fine. Mom uses it while she watches TV for about 10 minutes at a time and she put some rubber mats under the brackets to help keep it in place. Mom's legs are quite short so she has to scoot to the edge of the sofa to reach the pedals. Also, since her knee has become stiffer it is harder to bend so she struggles a little to reach the pedals easily and then pedal. When she makes a full rotation, it seems to get caught on something so it is not completely smooth, either. I tried turning it with just my hands - doing so is smooth, so there is something in the way that she pedals it. She has not used the tension knob yet but it does appear to turn easily. One of the rubber pieces that keeps the pedal in place popped out. I was able to push/screw it back in easily, but again, this is a very austere unit. I would recommend it if you really want something inexpensive, but frankly would recommend another unit for a few bucks more. Oddly, my original order was canceled. When I checked my account, there was a vague message that it might be due to a lost shipment and so was canceled by the shipper. I was not charged for that first order, but it was unusual. In all the years of placing Amazon orders, that was a first for me. The seller addressed the problem when I inquired and I just made a second purchase, which was received without any problem. ... show more

  • Gets the job done
Style: Standard
Does not fit well under any desk in my office building. It is too tall that your knees will hit when peddling. I have to adjust my office chair all the way up to sit comfortably while using it because of the height. It also pops up while peddling sometimes because the bottom is not heavy enough to keep it down. It does work fine other than that. Super lightweight, smooth peddling, and adjustable tension. ... show more

  • Cheap and shows it.
Style: Calorie Tracker
there are so many things wrong with this little toy that it is hard to know where to begin. to start with, the bands that are supposed to hold your feet on the pedals are so tiny that a person with larger than size four shoe cannot get into them. There is an adjustment, but it is only 1/4 inch, so you might increase it enough for a size 4 1/2 shoe. If you try to use the pedals without them, your feet keep sliding off, so this device is clearly designed for children or small footed women. The tension control is a bolt that you tighten against the axle to increase the friction between the bolt and axle. turning the axle against friction at any seed creates heat. At the speed that a pedal turns, it creates a great deal of heat, enough to create a burning hazard, possibly a fire hazard. Finally, one of the caps that fit over the legs and are supposed to keep the machine from sliding across the floor is too loose and keeps falling off. Clearly this is a cheap copy of some more effective device, rushed into production without testing whether it would actually work. My advice is to save your money until you can get a better machine. This one is not worth what it cost to make it. ... show more

  • Mine helps me keep moving so I don’t get stiff
Style: Standard
Easy to put together Easy to use I purchased one for the office and one for my home office. I sit for long periods of time and becomes stiff so that when I get up, I move like Quasimodo. I work on the computer a lot of pointing and clicking and talking to my computer. It has helped a great deal and I don’t get stiff and as grandpa used to put a “stove up“. Would I recommend this yes. I actually put my feet in the loops because of the height of of my desk. I use it in sock feet Why did you pick this product vs others?: I initially picked it because of the price. I was very stiff and difficult to move after rising from my chair. It would take me 10 to 15 feet before joints would loosen up to walk properly. Ease of use: put your feet on the pedals, or like I do under the puddles in the loop and move your legs. I use it to keep moving. ... show more
