  • Good for getting a little activity while working at a desk or watching TV
Style: Calorie Tracker
There's not much to say, it's a cheap little bike for getting some leg exercise while sitting and doing something else. Depending on the height of your desk, it may not be possible to pedal it underneath, so make sure to do some measuring first. It can also collapse at the legs for storage purposes, which is a nice touch, but it's not too big or bulky either way. It has a little screen for tracking calories, rotations, etc. I don't know how accurate it is, but it's a nice little feature to include for the low cost of this little bike. It's pretty quiet to pedal, but I did dock one star off the sturdiness because it does wobble a bit and I noticed the rubber around one of the pedal bars is moving. Regardless, it works well for what it's intended for, and it was definitely worth the cost (~$20). ... show more

  • You get what you pay for
Style: Calorie Tracker
3 and 1/2 Stars rounded up. Worth the price works relatively well. However, the rubber slip on the bottom does not work. Work very well and does slide even across the carpet and rug. I'm likely going to need to get a mat for when I actually exercise either for work or at home or perhaps both. But it's easy to use, a little noisy but it's easy to carry and take wherever needed. Worth the price though cuz I need to get a little bit of exercise while I'm either sitting at my desk at work or when I'm at home relaxing ... show more

  • It's ok
Style: Calorie Tracker
Does what it's made for, simple setup and easy to use. Drawbacks: not stable when pedalling with foot especially when the tension is turnup. Makes a squeaky sound and the connecting joint btwn the base and the main part wobbles when in use

  • Not for everyone, but great for me!
Style: Calorie Tracker
This cycle isn't for everyone, but for me it has been great. I have limited mobility and use the cycle to work my arms, building strength and helping me with my range of motion. For these uses, it has been amazing, especially given the price. The build quality far exceeded my expectations. It is very solid. It's also much larger and heavier than I expected. Not huge or unwieldy, just be aware that when open it takes up a good amount of room. There is one thing that could definitely be improved: when the legs are folded for storage, the pins that lock the legs in place while in use stick out at the bottom. This could cause it to scratch/gouge the surface of wherever you are storing it (in my case a bedside rolling table). I keep a towel under it and so far it seems to be working. The display is very basic, but serviceable. It provides basic information, such as duration of exercise, total rotations, and an estimation of calories burned. The owners manual gives very little information about how to operate the display, just play around with it and you should be able to figure it out. The knob for adjusting the resistance is easy to use, however there are no settings/markings to guide you. You just keep turning until it feels right for you. For me, this is not an issue. So, again, this cycle has been great for me. Just be aware of what you really need and keep your expectations realistic and you should be happy. Hope this helps. ... show more

  • Cheap and shows it.
Style: Calorie Tracker
there are so many things wrong with this little toy that it is hard to know where to begin. to start with, the bands that are supposed to hold your feet on the pedals are so tiny that a person with larger than size four shoe cannot get into them. There is an adjustment, but it is only 1/4 inch, so you might increase it enough for a size 4 1/2 shoe. If you try to use the pedals without them, your feet keep sliding off, so this device is clearly designed for children or small footed women. The tension control is a bolt that you tighten against the axle to increase the friction between the bolt and axle. turning the axle against friction at any seed creates heat. At the speed that a pedal turns, it creates a great deal of heat, enough to create a burning hazard, possibly a fire hazard. Finally, one of the caps that fit over the legs and are supposed to keep the machine from sliding across the floor is too loose and keeps falling off. Clearly this is a cheap copy of some more effective device, rushed into production without testing whether it would actually work. My advice is to save your money until you can get a better machine. This one is not worth what it cost to make it. ... show more

  • It is perfect for me.
Style: Calorie Tracker
I purchased this in 2017 for my mother a few months before she died. I began using it in 2020 after my knee replacement surgery. It was a perfect adjunct to what was being offered at PT. Using it and stretches at home kept me from having to purchase expensive equipment. Lately I have been using it more since I am in PT again for my back. I can feel the blood circulating in my lower body and legs as I use it. In my younger years I would consider this equipment for sissies. Well, I am old and a bit of a sissy, so it is perfect for me. The equipment is sturdy, easy to use, adjust, and move. ... show more

  • It's about what you'd expect for the price
Style: Calorie Tracker
This pedal machine isn't a good fit for me for the following reasons: Very lightweight and wobbly. It slides around on the hardwood floors at home and at the office too much. It wobbles while in use making a creaking noise that would annoy coworkers. Height doesn't work for my desk. My knees hit the bottom of my desk when the pedal is in its highest position, so I have to sit further away from the desk to use this--making it hard to work. My home desk (where I'd primarily hoped to use this) has a cross piece near the bottom. If I push the pedal machine against that piece, it's stable, but I can't pedal because my foot hits the cross piece. If I pull it sufficiently away from the cross piece to pedal, the machine tends to wobble and slide around and I have to sit too far back from my desk for comfort. There is, in theory, a resistance adjustment, but it's not sufficient for pedaling with feet. When I tighten it to the maximum, I can feel the resistance when pushing the pedals by hand, but when I put it on the floor and pedal with my feet, it's as if there's no resistance. Legs are just that much stronger than hands. The foot straps aren't adjustable and I have to change into very thin, light shoes to use this. Anything that I would normally wear to work is too bulky to fit inside the foot loops. For these reasons I plan to return this purchase, but if the above items aren't issues for you, the exercise itself was exactly what I wanted. Just the machine was too awkward with my desk, chair, feet, knees, etc... ... show more
