I just opened the box from Amazon. It took ten minutes to assemble (very simple, pops open into shape), ten minutes to heat up, and 35 minutes after that I'm one sweaty relaxed dude! If you haven't had a steam bath in a while, you should get this. Especially in the wintertime, as it will drive away the worst chills and dramatically reduce any tension in your body. I'm big (6'-2" & 230 pounds), and I fit right in there. Enough head and leg room, and no wasted space above for steam to rise to. I'm also 65 years old and doing a squat to get on that little chair seemed like it might be a challenge, but it wasn't. I was amazed at how easy it was to get out too! Steam is invigorating yet relaxing. Go from the steamer to the shower and that's as clean as your body can get! I expect its good for the pores and sinuses too. I'm delighted with this product after owning it for about two hours, I feel that good from my one treatment! I put a towel on the chair and wore my birthday suit for my 35-minute soak. Any clothing will get drenched, so skip that. Build quality is better than I had expected. I don't plan to use the remote, but it has one. Maybe don't take that inside with you, it's likely not steam-able. There is enough hose to position the steamer within view of the window. Maybe keep the remote on a nearby counter if you want to tweak it during your session. Unit shows temp setting via bright display (P1-9, I used 9 of course) and minutes remaining (alternating every 5 sec). At full blast 35 minutes only used 1/3 of the water tank supply. Shipped fast too! I didn't think the plastic smell was all that bad like some have complained, and I expect it will off-gas after a few uses and air-outs. I'm recommending this to all my friends.

For something so compact, this was surprisingly effective. It unfolds and easily assembles in less than a minute. Folding it up and putting it away is a little more challenging. I don't fold mine up completely because I use it so often. It takes about 5-7 minutes for the steam to get going and to heat up, but once it gets hot, it stays hot. Inside is a little snug, but actually quite cozy once you get settled in. The little window is nice, because you can actually watch TV while inside. I've used it for 4 months now, and it is still running very well. I have always wanted a sauna. But because we are renting, a portable sauna was the only way to get one. This one was exactly what I needed.

This is a great portable sauna. Assembly was easy and the craftsmanship is superb. I’ve only used it once but it heated up quickly and definitely got the desired result. I had to place a towel over the chair as the steam sits under the chair and it will give you a hot seat. Also the steam will roll up the sides and can burn your hips if you are not careful. The towel fixed all that. I’m looking forward a many reps in this sauna. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a low priced yet well manufactured sauna.

It leaks from the bottom by the black power chord its attached to. And thats worrisome. Also the little steam cup that goes inside the pod, collects very hot steam water. You should practice getting in and out of this pod before you actually use it. The reason for this is because the little cup that holds the steam water inside can easily tip over and burn you and it could also unplug the steam pipe in the process. The zipper doesnt open all the way to the bottom as well. So you want to make sure you know how to get in and out properly so you dont trip and get burned. This is a small space to get into and its not sturdy enough to hold you if you lean. So this is a good small pod for a person limber and agile enough to hop in and squat and get out. I use my own little small stool in this pod because it takes up less space than the chair that comes with this. Also and this is something to take into account with ALL portable saunas...use them outside or near a door that opens to the outside or a really big window that you can open because the steam will get in your house, your room or whatever indoor space you put it in.... think about it. Im sticking with it. But I learned my lesson the first time. Take the remote inside with you so u can turn it off when it gets too hot. Keep the pod closed when you start the steamer. Once you hear the inside cup start making a popping sound that means the steam is coming thru and you should jump in. After that it steams up in 3 minutes and keeps going. Good luck. UPDATE 3/29/23: The sauna still works great. I use it many times a week. It takes 15-20minutes to boil the water before the steam starts enetering the saunam. The REMOTE stopped working after the first use because IT IS NOT WATERPROOF! How crazy is that? So my advice is put the remote in a ziplock bag and take it in. I even put my cellphone in a ziplock bag and it works well in there.

I wasn't too sure about getting one of these but decided to go for it so I could have a sauna after home workouts. It's just the right size for an adult to sit on a folding chair. The steamer is very easy to use. It has a timer that does allow a cool down at about 5 minutes left. It puts out a lot of steam. The tent is easy to zip from inside and out. It's a bit overwhelming at first but you definitely get used to being inside quickly. It steams up the plastic part so you really can't see out of it. That plastic also unzips separately which is good for a quick breather or if you need to reach something. There is also a pocket on the outside to keep your phone near you. There hasn't been any issues with water leaking from the container. This whole system was easy to put together. Definitely worth the investment to have this conveniently at home.

Easy to assembly in just a few mins. It takes about 5-10mins to heat/steam up but works great at all power levels. Dries out well with a fan (separate for item) to make sure it doesn't get moldy inside. Also, easy to clean to help in that effort. Great to have at home so daily use is possible instead of having to make a trip somewhere. Sauna usage is great for health and this product makes it easy.
