I don't know any teen that would be against setting this up in their room. 50 Feet was a bit too much for the rooms that we set it up in, but we just made use of it and it didn't turn out too bad. Setup was easy on both android and apple. Took 20 min total from opening the box to running it along the top of the walls around the room. Just need to purchase another 2 boxes and every child will have one. Has most of the colors that my kids like, and it does its purpose of providing lighting affects for the kids rooms. No issues with setup, and all portions of it work.

This was a gift for my daughter for her birthday and she loves having the lights in her room. It was easy to setup and easily integrated with Alexa so she can control the color changes and on/off very easily. There are also some custom color mixes (like for christmas and rainbow) which are fun as well.

We have many many sets of these lights with 4 kids they all want these in their rooms and for under their bed. They used to be great quality now not so much. They lighting is off one side of the lights say are green and the other side is yellowish. I have returned and exchanged and same thing. Overall we love govee products. They seem to hold well, adhesive is good and you get a lot for your money!

These lights are an amazing addition to my room. They stick with no problem, they have a variety of different colors, and my favorite part is that they connect to your phone so there’s no need for a remote! Definitely recommend this product.

Love GoVee lights, but do yourself a favor and do not buy these... Go with a better GoVee selection. The lights themselves are ok... They work well... The problem is that the LEDs are too far apart from each other on the strip and it just does not do GoVee justice. I know they were cheap, but expect better from GoVee. Oh well. Lesson Learned.

For the money, they are OK. the most noticeable thing is that they get dimmer as the length of the strand goes on. We used them in our tray ceiling and by the time the strand goes back around to where we started, its a noticeable difference in luminosity between the starting point and the end. Color I can deal with because they are completely customizable but the lower light level between the beginning and end of the strip kind of stinks - especially because my beginning and end point are the same. If I had known it would be this apparent, I would have paid more for a better product. Google Home/Alexa integration works great. NOTE: if you are installing these in a straight line where the beginning and the end of the strip DO NOT come together, you might not notice they gat dimmer as they go...

I have a number of LED strip lights from various manufacturers including Govee, but these are pretty much terrible. At their brightest, to notice that they’re actually on without staring directly at the individual LEDs I need a windowless room with all lights off. I have other Govee lights that are great! They’re bright with vivid colors, but these…just do yourself a favor and pass. There are better lights at a similar price point. These at their brightest are barely able to reach the dimmest level of my multiple other Govee lights. Govee should market these as night, guide lights. As in, you install them as a runner along the sides of stairs or along your baseboards in the hallway so you know where the sides are, but don’t actually provide any useful light to see if the kids dropped a Lego or something larger like left their power wheels vehicle parked in the dead center of a narrow hallway (maybe a bit of a stretch, maybe?). Needless to say, I’m very disappointed in these and that’s having experience with a good number of quality to very cheap, no name LED strip lights. I would definitely buy a no name brand over these, granted you’d still be rolling the dice, but at least they wouldn’t be guaranteed to be terrible like these. Govee should honestly drop these from their lineup. They make some great LED lights, but these are not them. These would definitely make me not buy anything Govee again if they had been the first lights from them that I had purchased. Seriously Govee. If you’re reading this, these tarnish your reputation. Drop them. It would be better to have nothing at this price point than to have something like these that a first time buyer purchases and thinks your brand quality is garbage as a result, when I know from my personal experience with your other offerings that you have some great products.
