It took about 15 minutes for me to set everything up. The steam tent was very effective in producing enough heat to get a good sweat out. We used it twice daily at the highest level for about 15 minutes per session. Simply loved it while it lasted. As it turns out, the steamer itself decided to retire a few days after the 30 day return period. I’m concerned about quality control but won’t rule out user error. Overall, it did what it was expected to do. Update: a representative from VitaLiving reached out and offered a replacement steamer to make it right, and promised to address quality concerns. As such, I’m going to give it another try; they’ve earned my trust. We used the sauna twice a day over 30 days with no issue. This time around we’ll add a GCFI converter to rule out potential user error and see if that makes a difference. As of now, I don’t think you’ll get a better steamer at this price range in today’s portable sauna market; they are all pretty much the same from a quality standpoint within this size range. However the point I want to make here is that for the company to reach out and make an effort to address my concerns and pain point speaks volumes. This is a decent home Sauna, easy to put together, easy directions to start it up, good price, only thing is the 1 hose is a little short, but no big deal I’ll grab a new longer one at the hardware store. If you have used a sauna before I’d recommend level 7 and up. 5 is very mild to start.

I am happy with the performance of this purchase, it is a nice little addition to my home gym. I bought the smaller version, the one that is 57" tall, and it works fine. The reason is that I have a 1bdrm apt and space is limited, this one I can stow away in a closet when not in use. I like it a lot but there are a few design flaws that I did not like. None of them hampered the function of the unit, but just bad common sense. MAYBE it was intentional, I dunno. 1. The steam tube is routed thru the bottom of the door. Tripping hazzard. My fix: Gorilla Tape the hole, both sides. Do the same on a sidewall, use a razor-knife to cut a SMALL X (about 1" in either direction,) insert coupler there. See photo. 2. The original hole was just a hole in the fabric, no reinforcement around it. See solution #1. 3. There wasn't a chair, nor foot massager (as advertised) but this wasn't a problem because my cheap Walmart camp chair fit just fine. As for the foot massager, my work around was to cover my feet in peanut-butter, just hang them out the door and let the dog do his job... Just kidding, my dog doesn't like feet. 3. The remote is almost useless, the range is shorter than me pressing the buttons, AND my fingers work at ANY ANGLE. All in all, it was a good purchase! Tips!!! Do NOT add essential oils to the boiling pot, add it to the collection box inside the tent, a few drops on a paper towel works just fine. I bear-gassed myself with some Peppermint Oil once and I'm a US Army Chem Corp Vet!!! (Shoulda relied on my training and not some "health guru's" advice!) Yeah, it sucked. Like, REALLY!!! AND MOST IMPORTANTLY!!! There really isn't any place to put the steam box inside the tent other than under your seat. I would recommend to place a towel under yourself to avoid poached privates. Please don't ask... Also, this REALLY builds up water, so my solution was to place a small fan inside the unit, with the entrance door opened at the bottom and the window cracked at the top, then run it overnight to dry out before stowing the tent. I hope this helps and I would purchase this again, you just have to be smarter than your tools sometimes. ... show more

I bought this sauna hoping for a reasonably cheap and reliable alternative to the gym. This product is far below my expectations. First, the polls arrived bent and the plastic connectors were cracked. Secondly, the zipper doesn’t provide a good seal and the the water vapor escapes easily. Third, this product does not nearly get hot enough. At Maximum on the top setting it’s about 65 degrees inside. Oh, and the “19 5 star reviews” it shows on Amazon do not exist. Putting it together one of the corners tore but not bad enough to stop the use the stitching came out in a few places. Have done 2 saunas first it was around 70-80, second time 80 got a good sweat going could be cause it’s in a low heat garage over all it’s good so far update so the seller reached out and sent me a new cover no tears putting it on works great they did it on their own so good to go tent gets hot when the garage temp is up the sauna works great ... show more

First of all it’s big and roomy, great I am a big guy! Bad news is that is is missing the tube for the steam and the controller that allows you to adjust it inside the steamer. The instructions have both listed. Updated They have taken care of it. I had bought a tube that worked. They refunded me the cost of the tube and sent me the correct tube attachments and controller. The customer service is great and there is no hesitation. I would say they went above and beyond to make sure I had everything. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Super happy with product. Assembly was pretty easy and doable alone. Take your time follow steps in instruction book. After initial setup I decided to give it a try and was pleased.

First off, the directions are terrible. Next the metal poles barely fit into the plastic fittings to make the frame. Next, the seams are GARBAGE, very weak. The zippers are also very weak. It does get hot and thats the only decent thing about it. I would send it back but I dont feel like taking it apart, packing back in the box then bringing somewhere. I dont have another one to compare it to, but this one is below standards. I'm 5'10 and can stand in it so the height is decent. It gets hot and its tall.....thats it. ... show more
