I am VERY impressed with the "COLOFOR D8 Car Jump Starter with Air Compressor: 2500A Large Dual Digit Display Jump Pack,12V Battery Booster Jump Box(8.5Gas/6.0L), 150PSI Tire Inflator and Battery Jumper for Car, Motor, Bike, Ball" etc.!!!! We realized we needed a portable jump battery very quickly after deciding to be a 1 car family some years ago and being careless about shutting everything electrical off. Now the JumpIt's lead-acid battery is getting old, so I got the COLOFOR jump starter to replace it before the old battery succumbs to time & inexorable chemical reactions. I find the flip lever of the COLOFOR compressor soooooo much easier to use than the threaded screw-on tire stem connector of the JumpIt and the digital gauge is much easier to see than the analog dial. The jumper cables are much smaller too but easy to use. The onboard flashlight is much better situated as it cannot be turned on or left on without the whole unit being on. The JumpIt got inadvertently drained on a couple of occasions because its emergency light is easily turned on in error and the light not seen. The only accessory the COLOFOR Jumper lacks is a female 12v DC cigarette lighter jack that the JumpIt has. All this and it fits in a small case you can easily keep in the cabin or trunk of your vehicle! Maintenance note: Be sure to regular check the Li-ion battery's power level every 60 days and recharge as needed to extend the battery life. Always recharge it after EVERY use and it should last 10 years if never overdrained or prolonged/repeated exposure to extreme hot or cold. Definitely RECCOMENDED 👍👍👍👍👍

The "COLOFOR D8 Car Jump Starter with Air Compressor: 2500A Large Dual Digit Display Jump Pack" has helped me a lot! I know it is hard to believe some reviews from others, but this is my honest opinion on this item. I received this and put it in my car "just in case" I ever needed it. Little did I know, that the very next week I would begin having issues with my Chevu Equinox and this would be very valuable to me. My car suddenly started having issues starting when temperatures dropped where I live and we got some snow. I had little faith that this jump box would actually jump my car's battery, but I tried it anyway one morning when I was leaving work and realized my battery was dead. The jump box included clear instructions for use and I was able to start my car easily, the first time I tried! Over the next week, I had to jump my battery several times and it always worked! I was surprised that it took very little juice from the jump box's battery each time I started my car with it. I did replace my car's battery and it has been working fine now, but this box has still come in handy adding air to my tire that has a slow leak, and for airing up my son's bicycle tire. Overall I feel this is a great value and is something everyone should have in their cars!

I had a dead battery in 0 degrees (F) not long after I got this. So I thought I'd test it out. I had not given it a full charge yet, but: I looked at the manual and it said 3/4 charge was needed to start a vehicle. I looked at the charge, it said 3/4 full. Went out to start the vehicle......not even close. Barely put anything in. HERE'S THE THING: that's my fault (to a degree). I had not charged it yet. I just figured it would work since company said it would work on 3/4 charge, and indicator said 3/4 charge. I, outside of having read it in the manual, would NOT have expected it to work on 3/4 charge. So they get a star off for that. Either fix the manual or fix the indicator. I dunno which, but gotta fix one. That all said once I gave it a good charging it seems fine. So it's not like I'm giving it 2 stars...but it deserves 1 off for that. I could have just thrown it in there and had that problem in the middle of nowhere, trusting the manual, and be frozen to death right now. Well...not me because I'm not that trusting, I have another one (different company) with full charge in the back. But SOMEONE could have done that! Fix the manual or fix the indicator, I dunno which is the problem.
