I'd bought other Dowl Centering Tools, but this works best because it is physically smaller and fits on more variable sized pieces of wood.

Drill in one hand, 'guide' in the other with two fingers applying pressure in opposite directions. Just the drilling alone walks the guide off point. Do not recommend.
