Got this to clean out small frog pond that had leaves, limbs and other rubbish in it. The pole fit together nicely and is strong enough to pull out some serious debris. I like that it's a scoop, flip over and tap out what the net captured. It really cleaned up the pond in short order and the netting is small enough to allow water through and even helps get some small particulates out.

Love this!! We just got a pool and so I recently purchased so many things to care for a pool! I have learned that this net is not only perfect for skimming leaves off the top of the pool but it’s great for scooping them off the bottom, this has become my afternoon calming routine to check the pool clear the leaves and listen to the calming noise from my new pool fountain as well. The net is durable and you can adjust the length of the stick by taking out foot long pieces of the handle. Great value for the money! Only thing that sucks is the hook head that came with my pool vacuum does not fit on the pole so that kinda sucks because now I have to buy another stick that it will fit.

Size: Pool Skimmer with Pole
This is a replacement order. Ordered the original for misc skimming of pool and hot tub. It lasted one year, not due to the sturdiness of construction, but because the netting disintegrated due to sun exposure (thus only 4 stars). The plastic webbing needs to be made of a more sun resistant material, The construction of the net frame is strong and well shaped for skimming and the net is deep enough to catch and hold a fair amount of debris. The tubular pole sections are Al and sturdy. The metal connectors tabs pop up and hold the sections together well. Note: the pop-up connector at the net end is plastic and was misshapen on the new net, so it didn't fully lock. I replaced this pole section with the one from the original item - it is all good. Note: This pool net is probably not for major cleaning of the full pool. It is short and a little light for that service. But it is great for a quick surface cleaning before you swim.

Decent pool net with handle. Like this one because I didn't have to purchase separately and hope they fit together. The handle is flimsy and short, does not reach the bottom of the pool easily. Unable to extend like other models. Arrived in a small package and snapped the handle parts together, very easy. Get what you pay for with this cheaper model. The net is fine mesh, also flimsier than my last one, but does the job well. Picks up the small bugs and debris. I like that the net head is large and curved, makes it easy to skim over the water. It has been a few weeks now and held up well. Would get this again for a cheap simple pool net replacement.

It works great for Above Ground pools. Lightweight, not overly long pole and easy to empty and continue scooping. It may look cheap but it's the best skimmer I have used. I use it to skim on top and pull the leaves off the bottom. Did I mention it was lightweight. Try it, you'll like it.

Size: Pool Skimmer with Pole
I like that the net on this skimmer is a bit deeper. The pole is a durable, yet lightweight material. However, I was disappointed that the length of the pole was shorter than most skimmers, making it challenging to reach the middle of the deeper parts of our pool. It looks like you could buy additional segments to lengthen it if needed. Unfortunately, we don't need to lengthen the pole because the plastic around the netting has already cracked and broken, rendering the skimmer part useless. Ironically, this didn't even outlast the one I was trying to replace. I think if you are extra gently with your equipment and don't have a very deep pool, this could be a good choice. Otherwise you may consider other options.

When something falls in my pool, the first thing I think about is, HECK YES! I get to use my POOLWHALE Upgrades Swimming Pool Leaf Net Skimmer Rake with adjustable aluminum pole, to get that out of the pool. In all seriousness, its a skimmer net on a pole that is not technically adjustable, but more so you can add more or less pole if needed. It worked like it should, its much lighter than my full size net on a 10ft pole, so that is nice. No complaints yet.
