It is super easy to install, it took us 5 minutes to cover, thread the cable through and tighten! It only takes 2 people to cover your pool!! We have a 20ft pool that’s buried 3ft. The cover is for a 24ft pool that we bought as used because the box was opened and returned to Amazon. So that is why we have a lot of excess, which I like because I was able to cover our pump also. It is super thick and durable!! I would buy again if I ever had to years down the road.

This is the best cover I’ve owned. You don’t have to order a size up with this cover. I live in Western NY. I have an 18’ pool, I bought the cover specified for an 18’ pool. With about a foot and a half of water drained out of the pool, a pillow in the middle, and ice and snow on top of the cover there’s still about a foot of overlap remaining and the cover hasn’t moved. The pillow is holding up well too, I’d recommend getting that as well. I’ve never had a pool pillow last more than a month into winter here.

So I ordered the 21 ft cover for my 18 ft round pool. It does say it had a 4 ft overlap, but my experience with covers has been very poor, so I decided to go bigger so I don't have to worry. Maybe I should have stuck with the 18 ft cover, as this covers the WHOLE pool now. I'm not upset by any means, and it just means this product lives up to what it says. The cable was easy to run, and looped it in cleanly with the ratchet piece it had. I got it all clinched down to realize I forgot something, so I got to test removing it, easy enough as well. I can't speak for how it'll survive the winter as it depends on the conditions (varied winters here). Hoping everything works out! The strong and sturdy tarp and the cable are nice, but the ratchet stripped part of the coating from the cable, so I expect some rusting to occur

Best, most durable pool cover I’ve seen yet. Thick and sturdy but still easy to maneuver over pool. Description was spot on for sizing and should last more than 1 yr like my last cover. So grateful to have found this cover.

Great quality! I purchased for my 18” above ground pool. I got a 21” cover for it to have extra coverage. It goes almost to the ground all the way around, about a foot of the pool shows. I like the cinch cable, works great. Definitely need to tell people to CUT EXCESS CABLE BEFORE WINCHING. I of course learned the hard way. It doesn’t take much extra to winch down, they must give an extra 100 feet of cable and the small winch can’t hold it all. I love this cover, the material seems durable and tough. Super easy to do, I did this myself with no help within 20 mins. I recommend a pool pillow to use with!

I bought a cheaper cover that only lasted two seasons. Paid a little extra for this cover, but I think it will be worth it. Put this cover on my pool yesterday and was impressed with the thickness and quality. The band that goes around the edge is very thick and the grommets look like they will hold up for a long time. It is heavy but I was able to put it on myself. I would suggest having someone to help. I did get some of the water on the cover and could already tell that the water will not go back through the cover, which is great. I am glad I invested the money on this an hopefully it will last a few years.
