What I like about this pool winterizing kit is that you can use it for above ground pools and that it’s a simple one bottle process. I like that it is a three and one kit so you’re not having to buy multiple products to ensure that your pool is still getting maintained during those winter months when it’s not in use. I put this kit in my pool about 2 weeks ago, I made sure my pool is clean before I put it in and my pool still looks clear. I don’t see any buildup of any coloration or anything. It just looks as it did before I added in the bottle (which is a good thing). I do keep my pool covered so I know that my neighbor has a pool winterizing kit in his pool is still getting dirty because you were still getting dirt and a lot of the wind debris into his pool so make sure you’re keeping all debris out of your pool as well still. I think it’s super easy to use as well. That’s what makes me really like this product because there’s not a lot of measuring if your pool is already about 15,000 gallons and the instructions are very clear and concise on the bottle. There really wasn’t anything that I didn’t like about this pool winterizing kit, it seemed very clear as to its function, and also has been working great on my pool, and I have no complaints. Overall, I am really happy that I did decide to try out this pool winterizing kit for my above ground pool, and I’m really happy with the results so far and I hope they stay this way for the whole 3 months, or until I reopen my pool to give it another cleaning then (which ever comes first). I will recommend this pool winterizing kit to all my family and friends, and to anyone looking for a kit that can help maintain your above ground pool/underground pool up to 15,000 gallons of water during the times when it’s not in use, then I would also recommend this to you too.

We used this kit to close my Dad’s backyard pool as the weather cooled down. His pool isn’t huge, so I appreciated that one bottle was enough to treat the entire pool without any guesswork. After a quick clean up, I diluted the solution as directed and poured it evenly along the edges. The pump handled the rest. As a new pool owner I am learning so much and learning a lot all at once since we bought a house with a above ground pool. We did not get to enjoy the pool yet, but we do still have to maintain it. We KNOW we have to "close" the pool down, but I am not sure as per what all that pertains to honestly. I did some reading and I am learning there are a like of specifics and chemicals we need, and I did not have the time to get them before our first real leaves falling and cold night coming. I quickly looked and found this and saw it was my perfect option. Everything I need all in one bottle. Just clean my pool, pour in the bottle, place my pool pillow (haha, not that easy by yourself!), and cover it. I am very pleased and cannot wait to open the pool in the next season!

This pool de-icing kit makes closing the pool for the winter easy. First, I cleaned the pool with a pool robot, then poured the product in according to the instruction manual, agitated it a little, put in the pool air pillow, covered it with a plastic cover, and everything was ready to open the pool in the spring. After closing the pool for many days, I found that the pool water was still as clear as before! For me, this pool de-icing kit saves money and effort, seems to work well, and I am very satisfied with this purchase.
