I have an above ground pool and a ladder that attached to my deck and the bottom of ladder sits on pool floor. This mat sounded great in theory but in reality it's just not worth the frustration. I knew there was gonna be issues when I first opened package and saw how thin and weightless it was. Also the size just barely is enough to occupy the bottom feet of our ladder which I think is a universal standard for anyone with a pool/deck combo. But the main issue is that it's so thin it's not weighted down in the water so it constantly squirms its way from underneath the ladder and it's always just swimming around in our pool.
