My old pool ladder was wobbly and starting to crack after just two summers, so I needed something more solid. This one caught my eye because of the weight capacity and the dual handrail setup. Getting it assembled was pretty straightforward. Took maybe 30 minutes with no special tools. The filling system is clever, you add water to the steps and stones to the side panels. I will say it took a bit of patience to get all the air out of the water fill holes. Had to press down on it with some weights like the instructions mentioned. Once everything was filled up though, this thing does not budge at all. It sits right against the pool wall with almost no gap. The steps have a textured surface that actually works. My kids have been climbing in and out all week and nobody has slipped. The handrails are solid and dont flex when you grip them. I am a bigger guy and it feels completely stable under me, no creaking or wobbling. The plastic seems thick and well made, not flimsy at all. Really happy with this purchase. It looks nice, functions exactly as described, and feels like it will last more than a couple seasons. Only minor thing is you definitely want to use stones not sand for the side panels since sand can leak out over time.

This is a very flimsy set of steps. The hand rails are extremely weak and would not make it through one season, or even one event where a person actually needed to grab the hand rail, the steps twist and bow when weight is placed on them, and even after filling the side panels with rock, the stairs won't stay down completely. Over all, this product is complete garbage and I would steer well clear of it!

The stairs themselves are sturdy and great, even though the instructions were horrible! There is a left and a right, keep that in mind! Our 3 star is because of the rails, they are horrible and certainly will not withstand a large adult. They are are flimsy and attatched only in 2 places. There is no work around this so we resorted to buying stainless steel rails and attaching them as well. We filled our stairs with washed stones that we had to hand drop in which took a lot of time but worth it as the stairs are very stable and we used a lot more rock than the instructions called for. I would NOT use sand as an alternative (as instructions say you can do) cause there are weep holes and your pool bottom will be constantly with sand!

Ordered for an above ground pool. This product is definitely an upgrade of a stair! Is is the star of the show. Very sturdy and safe. This is a must for the kids and the elder who do not want to miss on the fun. The stairs that come with the pools are shaky and not safe in my opinion. I was never at ease knowing someone could fall at any minute. The assembly was easy and straightforward. I actually put it together myself and filled it up with the recommended stones that we bought at a local nursery. This was a great investment and will not regret the expense for liability insurance gets more expensive 🤣. Just get it so you are at ease while partying.

Technically, 4 1/2 stars, but they don't have that rating option. Here's the good: This thing is built like a Little Tyke's toy. It's designed with round and smooth edges, locks together like it never wants to be separated, and is a SOLID ladder. Here's the stupid me part: I saw the bottom, but somehow I had it in my brain the base would have some adjustability to it. It does not. It's not on them because the picture clearly shows this, but buyer know this so you can be prepared. We had to buy a couple long plastic boards and stack them, then wrap them in EPDM to lift the inner ladder portion because our pool is shallower on the outer edge. Again...not them. Me. Secondarily, I didn't know we had to add sand. Hubby ordered this, and when he was putting it together, he asked if I happened to think of buying any. Well, as luck would have it, I DID have sand. It made this ladder very heavy to move with 2 sissies like my daughter and me. Third, it floats. Like, no duh. Water displacement versus weight and all. I thought the sand would help it sink, but between the plastic and the stairs, it wanted to float. Yes, we let water fill the cavities where the sand goes. Still floats a bit. We are hoping the combination of lifting the front so it sits level and screwing the tabs onto our deck will keep it in place. With that in mind, yes, buy it. Most pool ladders feel like they will easily be Goldilocksed. This one won't. I have no idea what I'm going to do to lift it out in the winter, but that's on me...not the manufacturer.

We like this ladder. Very easy to assemble. Actually, we were shocked at how easy it was. There are 2 things we didn't like about this ladder. The first are the anchors that you screw into a deck to secure the ladder in place. There are only 4 pre-drilled holes in a column on each anchor. They should have 2 side by side, which would stabilize the attachment better. The second are the steps. They have very high anti-slip strips with ridges on them which actually hurt your feet.

I regret buying these pool steps. Assembly was far more difficult than it should have been. The instructions were poor, parts didn’t fit together well, and the entire process was frustrating. Once assembled, the problems only got worse. The ridges on the steps are incredibly uncomfortable and actually hurt to stand on barefoot. Pool steps should be safe and comfortable, not feel like you’re standing on sharp plastic. The handrails are the biggest disappointment. They’re flimsy, wobble under normal use, and inspire very little confidence. They feel cheap and poorly designed, which is the last thing you want on something that’s supposed to help people safely enter and exit a pool. Overall, the product feels low quality, overpriced for what you get, and not something I would recommend. I would not purchase these again.

It kept floating up and the handrails are not sturdy at all and the steps hurt to step down on , we had to put extra weights in the back of it to keep it down and it still moves side to side , I’m pretty sure our handrails will brake off bf the summer is up
