I've ordered a few sets of these over the years because they break easily if left out for the winter. They all are soft plastic, so clamping to them is weird. I'd rather not use them, unfortunately they're necessary when adapting intex to standard sized hoses. They are very easy to install, but if tightened too much, they easily pop off. They have a tendency to leak, and you have to find the sweet spot between stopping the leaks and going too far. The clamps that came with these ones were larger in size than others I have ordered. That was nice! Value for the money? Meh. There isn't much other alternative.

I haven't tried to use these adaptors yet however they did not come with the gasket that is needed in the threaded hose fitting, that is a pain since I'll need to buy those separate and they are harder to find on their own in the right size. Super annoying.

Although these hose connectors are not as thick as I would like them to be, they do a really good job in connecting the hose from the return on the pool to the water pump. The hose is securely attached to the connector and there is no signs of any leak.
