This rowing machine gives a nice smooth/quite workout and has 14 different levels of resistance so you can decide what's best for you. It has a built in screen (runs on batteries/no annoying cord) that lets you count up or down by reps, calories or time so it's easy to track your workout. It's a good leg, upper body, and cardio workout all at the same time. It even seems to be working my abs! Assembly was very easy and it is a good quality. Everything needed for assembly (including tools) was in the box. It can be folded up when not in use to save space and has wheels on one end making it easy to move around although its light enough that you could move it easily even without the wheels. It also has cables and handles that easily hook up to let you do some upper body exercises. Shipping time was as promised and they even sent me a pair of free workout gloves. I am very happy with it. The media could not be loaded. Based on so many positive reviews about this rower(thank you all who have submitted your positive reviews!) I decided to buy one and I'm thrilled with it! It is my first home rower and I can honestly say thank you to the manufacturer POOBOO who has produced such quality home rower. Assembly took about an hour, the seat is super cushioned, the handle is also nicely cushioned and soft on hands, the rower is very quite, pedals move back and forth providing extremely comfortable leg movement. The rowing machine was fairly easy to assemble. I have used it multiple times now and feel it is very comfortable and extremely quiet. The display is easy to read and offers basic functionality. I am very pleased with their customer service and free glove offer. Update: I have been using the rowing machine for a couple of weeks now and love it. I use the 12 setting (14 is the highest) and usually go hard for 20+ mins for an effective workout ...not too bad for a 60 year old. ... show more

I've had my rowing machine for a couple of months now and from a mechanical aspect, it is well constructed very quiet smooth mechanics rowing machine. Defined a good for a beginner, (like me) is because the resistance (although with 14 levels) is not extensively intense for more veteran enthusiast. Very smooth transition in both the rowing and seat slide. Very low profile. Foot straps are designed well to ensure tight grip. Minor issues I have is with the device is with the display. It's a basic digital counter that I really don't rely on since I have my watch and other monitor tools. Secondly, the 'app' that you can supposedly use is a subscription product which I found discouraging knowing I just spent on the equipment and now have to spend o a subscription. Have patience in putting the device together. Follow the instructions carefully. You may want to use your own tools as the one provided is very basic and may not tighten down your hardware well enough. Well worth the value. ... show more

This is my first rowing machine, but having used PooBoo products in the past I was confident that it would meet the needs of my family in our home gym. It is very sturdy (I'm 6'1" and 230 pounds) and suits my needs well. The number of workouts available in addition to rowing are many. Such versatility in one machine is a monumental plus. I only wish that it had come with a poster or hand-held flyer showing all the exercises, but not a big deal since they are published on the Amazon page, and I can make a printout from a screenshot until we learn them all. Assembly was a bit confusing at first until I realized that the instructions were for two somewhat different models. After I realized my error following instructions (happens to me a lot), it assembled very easily with the help of another person. The most incredible aspect of this transaction was the outstanding customer service. The battery compartment cover was not found in the box or among any of the packaging. I sent an email to their customer service at 9:06 pm Eastern time and received a response by 11:20 pm. A very nice person named Anna immediately addressed the situation and within a week I received a complete replacement monitor. I only needed the battery compartment cover, but Anna really made sure I wasn't missing anything by replacing the entire monitor. This level of customer service is almost unheard of these days. It has left me very impressed with PooBoo products even more so than before and I will be purchasing more of their products in the future as our home gym grows. ... show more
