Well, **** (4) STARS if you care about the environment. 1. PACKAGING: * Easy to unpack but I doubt you'll repack. * Unpacking is kind of a one way endeavor: -- Once you start removing parts, there's no going back. -- Everything is bagged but the bags are taped together thus need to be ripped open to get at an item. -- Plus there's Styrofoam... of all freaking things. Listen, there are other ways to pack - after all, it is 2025, pooboo. ---- The Styrofoam is brittle and will crumble and will essentially disintegrate. ---- If you can unpack this outside, you're lucky. ---- Which means, after all the unpacking is done, the packing material will be no longer recognizable, you'll find it really difficult to return this item. 2. ASSEMBLY/ INSTRUCTIONS: -- Needlessly cryptic. Yo, pooboo, hire a person, whose native language is English, to rewrite the instructions. -- Nonetheless, I doubt it will take you more than a half an hour to assemble (not including "scratching your head wondering what the heck this means?" time). -- For example, every customer/assembler will soon realize that "loosen a screw" really means "remove a screw". -- In order to assemble the feet apparatus, keep the above in mind. 3. WHAT SHOUD BE IN THE INSTRUCTIONS: -- The instructions do admit that it is difficult to add the front legs. -- But they write about the rower being "difficult to fix" (ouch!) but they really mean "difficult to affix". -- Solution:: place the rower on your kitchen countertop and add the front legs. Butta-bing. 4. ROWING: -- Simply elegant, it feels extremely natural - this is the way a rower should be built. -- This design means you'll never get bored because you can create unique challenges: ---- By maximizing the distance between the hands while pulling the oars back, you engage the same muscles used in a chest curl. ---- By using the bar: an underhand (palms up) grip engages the bicep muscles while an overhand (palms down) grip also engages triceps muscles. -- For me, I like the ability to vary how much effort each arm is contributing - so each arm is building equally. -- You have all the options possible - both hands in sync, hands out of sync, ability to use a rowing bar. -- Note: the video shows palms facing down when using the bar to pull the cables to one side. -- I think that "reverse grip" (such as doing a J-stroke with a canoe) might feel more natural. 5. BUILD QUALITY: -- Excellent - I envision this machine lasting a very long time. -- Also, since I can bench press over 200 pounds, I can honestly attest to the wide range of real resistance provided by your machine - that's a deal breaker. 6. NOISE LEVEL: -- Actually it's as quiet as advertised and you can hear a tv over your hard work with ease. FUNCTIONALITY: -- On top of the rowing flexibility, you have that Bluetooth functionality as described by pooboo, BUT.. 7. IF YOU JUST WANT TO ROW: - set a kitchen timer to 30 minutes, - set a resistance level, - maybe set a metronome for cadence - turn on your tv set - and start rowing!

I absolutely love this rowing machine! Before this, I had a hydraulic resistance model, but after breaking it from intense rowing, I decided it was time for an upgrade. While I don’t plan on becoming a competitive rower, I truly enjoy the workout experience, especially when paired with my VR goggles—it makes me feel like I’m out on the water. One of the standout features of this machine is the individual arm control, which made me realize just how much weaker my left arm was. Having that awareness has helped me focus on strengthening it. The full-motion rowing is another game-changer, allowing me to engage more of my back, lats, arms, and chest. It truly enhances the realism of rowing, especially in virtual reality. The magnetic resistance delivers an incredibly smooth and even workout from start to finish—unlike hydraulic resistance, which can fluctuate with heat. Another huge plus is how quiet this machine is. My previous rower squeaked constantly, forcing me to blast my music just to drown out the noise. Now, I can row at night without worrying about disturbing my neighbors. I'm on the chubby side, but the quality of this rowing machine is pretty good! It has enough resistance for a cardio routine!
