We recently had a new pool built and it came with a Polaris 280. Our pool is pebble and after the build all the plaster it picked up was hard on that bag. So, I came to Amazon searching for a generic replacement (not this product) and found one that I bought. At the time of that purchase, I somehow missed that it was a velcro bag. Let me just say that velcro is a no-go for me. The zipper is just so much easier. The velcro would constantly re-close itself while dumping and hair and other debris would stick to it. The zipper bags can from time to time get a small rock in them but I've not yet had an issue getting them open. This Polaris bag does cost more than the generic, but the Polaris floats correctly and it catches fine particles well with this name brand bag.. and the pricing here was still cheaper than my local pool store. ... show more

I suggest you do not try to order more than one item. I trued twice to order 2, and each time they sent the wrong item. I checked each time, and was very frustrated. So I ordered one and got the right bag.

    • Perfect Fit
I needed to replace the net on the Polaris. I am not an expert on replacement parts of the sweeper but this worked perfectly!! The original net lasted for 4 years! And I run my pump year round.
