abunda_amazon_reviews After making the biggest mistake of ordering this tv from walmart🤦♀️ I waited 3 weeks only to have it delivered with a broken screen. There only fix was a refund instead of a replacement. So that day my brain decided to function and I ordered from Amazon. 2 day delivery as promised and the TV was in perfect condition. I will never cheat on Amazon with Walmart ever again. Awesome picture and the speaker system is movie theater quality. Yes you should purchase this tv but only from Amazon😂;;Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2019;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Best Purchase Ever!!!!;;John Wesley Bristol;;;This is the first smart tv I’ve ever purchased and so far I’m pretty impressed. The magic remote is so responsive and can be used almost like a Wii remote— you point it at the screen and can move the cursor anywhere on the screen effortlessly. It also has a built-in microphone that you can use to ask Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa questions with. The picture is really clear and can easily be adjusted to your liking. It also has something called LG Channels that offers over 160 tv channels for free. That being said, they're not regular tv channels like ABC, NBC, or CBS, but rather channels that I've never really heard of... like the Allure Channel or various travel and food channels. This is a pretty nice feature for someone like me, who doesn't pay for cable and just uses Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. The reason I took off one star, however, is that Amazon Alexa didn't come built-in as advertised and isn't fully functional yet... you have to download the Amazon Alexa app from the tv and then set it up yourself. I got Amazon Alexa to work through the microphone built into the tv remote, but I still can't figure out how to get my echo dot to work with the tv (ex. "Alexa, turn the volume up on the tv"). Everything appears to be set up correctly, but my echo dot still doesn't want to work with this tv no matter what I do. I've hooked up my echo dot to other devices before with no issues, so I'm not quite sure why it doesn't want to work with this tv. I know that Amazon Alexa was a recent update/release to LG, so maybe the next time the Amazon Alexa app updates it will fix this issue. Overall it's a really nice tv, just don't expect Amazon Alexa to work perfectly with it (at least not yet).;;Reviewed in the United States on May 28, 2019;;4.0 out of 5 stars;;Amazon Alexa doesn't quite work yet;;Sarah W;;;I purchased 4 brand new LG TVs when we moved into our new home. I got the 65" model with Thin IQ. The picture is great and the sound is so good I don't need a sound bar. The only thing I wish it had was more apps like HBO and CBS All Access. For those I use Roku until they become available. But it does have Hulu, Netflix and Amazon Prime and many others. The magic remote is unbelievable, it controls and replaces my Roku and my Amazon Fire TV. Don't be discouraged by the bad reviews talking about shipping and damage those reviews aren't about the TV there about the delivery service. I would recommend this TV. The last one I had the same size was a TCL it started having issues just after the 1 year warranty ran out. The LG is slightly inconvenient because I had to buy a Rocku stick and TCL had it built in but its junk in my opinion. As I looked at the other options i kept finding negatives here and there. The TCL looked like it had some quality issues. The Toshiba had its own revolving around the Amazon connection. The Samsung was more expensive. I have not been let down. The picture quality is great and once the shock of the magic remote's little onscreen cursor wore off i found it easier to use than clicking the directional buttons trying to navigate the menus. There is even a scroll wheel. So to me its like a mouse you point at the tv like a laser pointer. Now i only have it hooked up to my bluray player at the moment, so broadcast tv, cable/satellite, and smart tv options havn't been explored. I was a little worried when i started watching an old DVD when the picture quality was kind of dim, but then i remembered that it was Mallrats, set in a mall in the early 90s directed by Kevin Smith, so no that movie wouldn't be a great test of the picture quality. But then i watched the How to Train your Dragon trilogy and it looked great, especially the last one that came out. Colors looked great, no image stuttering stemming from a slow refresh. The only thing i was fretting the first day was trying to figure out how to get the cursor off the screen. It helps when you stop playing with it.;;Reviewed in the United States on June 3, 2019;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;A great tv;;Kindle Customer
